I have been listening and watching Nick Pitera's "One Man Disney Movie" and it inspired me to write this short OneShot. I do hope you enjoy it, the characters are not mine. I only own the plot.
It was quite dark outside and the air was crisp with a nice and light breeze. A young man had walked outside of his quaint and little cottage type building, he gazed up at the sky and gave a light sigh. His legs had took him over to a nearby fence where him and his small family had kept their horses and whatnot. He leaned against the wood and lowered his head to gaze at the grass below him. He softly began to sing a soft chorus that had been stuck in his mind for quite some time.
"I have often dreamed of random and far off places, where a great warm welcome would be waiting for me when I showed and step foot into a room." He gave a quiet laugh, he could hear the hope that laced his voice and it sounded weird and out of place. He shrugged his shoulders and had continued on anyway, singing of his own place in the world. He had failed to notice another frame was in the same area as he himself until he heard a very soft and angelic voice singing right after he had gotten done.
"Who is that girl I see, staring right back at me? Why does my reflection have to be someone that I don't know?" His orbs had widened and he couldn't help but to slowly walk up to the girl, she wasn't from around these parts that was for sure. "Somehow I cannot and will not hide who I am, though I've tried so very hard to do so." He decided to chime in with his own little song.
"I will find my way someday soon." He now stood behind her and watched as she had turned around at the sound of his voice, a look of sincerity and complete understanding sparkled in her beautiful orbs. It was like she knew what he was feeling and that made him want to get to know her so much more. They continued their small duet and when it was over he held out his hand to her and introduced himself. She had gave a small smile his way and took his hand in hers.
I believe it would be the start of an interesting friendship and who knows, maybe even more.
Please read and let me know how you liked it, if you did. I am currently working on the next part in Domino's Angels, it is quite difficult with work and whatnot, but I thought I would give you this nice piece whilst I work. I do hope you all bear with me on the next couple of stories.
