Insert Good Title Here

You love him, you really do. Jonathan Samuel Cook was the only person you have ever loved and will ever love. But, you, Kyle William Burns, you were his best friend. He could never love his best friend.

Finally, you get the strength to roll out of bed and go to band practice. When you get there, only Jonathan and Caleb are there, Austin is late.

"Hey, Kyle!" Jonathan said, in his accent that was like nothing you had ever heard before. He gives you one of those one-armed bro hugs, and you fight the urge to pull him into an actual hug and never let go.

"Hey, bro," You reply, "Oh, and hey, Caleb." You wave to him as he rubs his ginger hair, making it a mess.

Finally, Austin arrives, and you take your place at the drums.

"Okay, guys. We'll do Same Dumb Excuse." Jonathan says, grabbing the mic.

I should be brave with nothing to lose, that's how I was until the day I met you.

Then you start playing, wondering why this song has everything to do with your feeling for Jonathan.

I've got nothing to lose, I've got nothing to lose but you, if I just say nothing, you'll never hear the truth, I can't keep using the same dumb excuse.

Jonathan is your whole world. He's all you have that even matters to you.

Dive off a cliff, jump from a plane, all sound easier than what I've gotta say, go for a swim, with sharks in the sea, all sound easier than me telling it to you straight.

If only you knew, Jonathan, you think.

After rehearsal, you go home and lay down, wishing you had Jonathan there with you. Then, you hear a knock on your bedroom door, and you're pleased to see Jonathan.

"Hey, bro, you seemed depressed today. So, I brought your favorite movie. I thought we could watch it together." Jonathan said, putting "Zombieland" into the DVD player.

You're so glad that it's a scary movie, because Jonathan is easily scared, which you think is horrible, but you're secretly glad that you get to comfort him when he gets scared. By the end of the movie, Jonathan is practically in your lap, and you just can't fight the urge anymore.

"Jonathan," You say, "There's something I've been meaning to tell you.

"What's up?" He asks, still sitting incredibly close to you.

"I'm gay." You blurt out the first half.

"You are? Well, that's cool. It doesn't change anything about us, Kyle." He's handling it pretty well, so far.

"It does change things, Jonathan. It does because I'm gay for you."

"Oh."

"Dude, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"

But, he interrupted you saying, "I'm gay for you too, Kyle."

Then, you press your lips against his. They're so small and soft, and you never want to stop.

"Kyle," Jonathan whispers, "I've always wanted to do that."

Then, at the same time, you both whisper three simple words:

"I love you."
