A Second Chance
She sat there in darkness. Her head down, staring at what might be her knees. She still just couldn't believe it. It was all over. She was all over.
All those times she spent with them. Was that only a memory? A dream? How could it be? She was a nobody. She didn't have memories. Then why does it feel so real? Maybe it wasn't a memory. Maybe...maybe it was all a dream. One bad dream.
There was red. Yeah red. With black. And a smirk. In...a library? Yeah. She always sat in a library reading and then he'd come along. Always messing with her. Taking her book. She'd get angry.
Not mad, angry.
He'd get so much of a shock that he couldn't even have time to run. How much she missed that. Being with someone. Not alone in the dark.
Then came another. With...pink? Yeah pink. The scent of roses would fill where ever he went. He'd always talk with her in private. But what about? What about?
All this thinking was making her head hurt. She planted her hands on her forehead as she felt a little bit of pain.
There was a plan. One that would give them great power. Or so she was told. The two worked together with help from the red one. She thought it was worth it but her world slowly crumbled when she found out something.
The red one was a traitor.
As she stood up still holding her head she saw a key. It shined brightly in her mind She felt pain. It started to spread. From her head down. She saw a fight. She felt joy in that match but also...felt sad. A blow struck her as she felt water on her face.
Tears.
As she felt her body lift from that world it felt like she was still there. The darkness lifted as she was standing in a white hall. A white hall. In front of her was a boy with a key staring at something. What was it? Removing one hand she turned her head. No. It couldn't be!
It was her.
She watched as her body disappeared. Her face covered in tears. The pain grew. She couldn't take it. Why? Why would she dream of something like this? Something that brought her pain?
Maybe she was right. That wasn't a dream.
She screamed in pain for it to stop. That memory. It was braking her. She kept screaming and screaming. Tears slid down her face.
She couldn't take it anymore.
She let out one long scream as she let herself hit the pure white floor. She understood what happened. What she did wrong, As she closed her eyes she wished
For a second chance.
