A/N:Well, I wasn't exactly sure where this came from, but I hope you guys enjoy it. I'm pretty sure I confused myself a couple times trying to write it out, and I'm even more positive that I messed up a few things. xD But oh well. Once I started it, I was too stubborn to stop, despite thinking it turned out like crap halfway through. ::snorts::

Title: If he was honest

Rating: T

Paring: SasuNaru

Warning(s): You'll be tired of the words 'shouldn't' and 'probably' by the time you reach the end. Also, this isn't platonic. Be warned.

Summary: He probably should have listened to the little voice at the back of his head. He probably shouldn't have gone through with it. But since when did he listen?

Extra notes: If you can't stand repetition, this probably isn't the story for you. xD Ah, and yes, this is my lazy version of a one-shot. ... Please don't hurt me.

If the young Uchiha was honest with himself, he knew that the little voice at the back of his head was probably right.

He probably shouldn't go through with it.

He probably shouldn't call up the the blonde idiot with some lame excuse about not understanding their physics homework, because then he'd probably feel like an idiot himself after hanging up.

He probably shouldn't move his text books to the low table in the middle of the room, because then he'd probably feel even more of an idiot.

He probably shouldn't notice the way his hands become moist and turn icy, because then the feeling in the pit of his stomach would probably become just that much more acute.

He probably shouldn't let the the blonde walk through the front door, because then he'd probably come to term with the fact that there wouldn't be any turning back.

He probably shouldn't offer his friend a drink, because then he'd probably note his own hesitation and attempts at stalling.

He probably shouldn't lead the taller boy toward his bedroom, because then he'd probablynotice how ridiculously fast his heart was beating.

He probably shouldn't find just about any excuse to brush hands or exposed skin in general with the blonde as they settled around the table, because then he'd probably note the other boy's hitched breath.

He probably shouldn't get impatient only 15 minutes into his 'tutoring' session, because then he'd probably contemplate kissing the other boy senseless.

He probably shouldn't contemplate kissing the other boy senseless, because then he'd probably decide to go through with it.

He probably shouldn'tcall the dobe's name in attempts to catch his attention, because then he'd probably find himself staring back into those 'not-quite-so-naive' blue eyes and most likely lose whatever sanity left.

He probably shouldn't lean forward and press his lips firmly against the other's.

He probably shouldn't take advantage of the surprised gasp.

He probably shouldn't allow his fingers to tangle themselves in those blonde spikes.

He probably shouldn't enjoy the sensation of his best friend pressing back and moving clumsily against him.

In theory, these were all the things he probably shouldn't do.

But he did them anyway.
