I glanced over at Jason anxiously

I glanced over at Jason anxiously. I hoped he wouldn't think this was a stupid idea. I know it sounds weird but I hadn't done something like this with anybody else before. But I loved him and wanted to make him happy. That's all that mattered to me.

"I'm a little nervous." He said as his smile fell for a split second but then quickly returned. "I mean, this is my first time… I want it to be perfect."

I smiled up at him and laced my fingers with his. "I want this to be perfect too. I'm sure it'll be amazing… I mean, everybody else I've talked to said it was fun to do. It's my first time too but we can get through this together. After all that's half the fun." I winked at him and lightly kissed him on the cheek. He grinned down at me and softly kissed me on the lips.

"I would never do this with anybody else."

"Neither would I." We looked at each other and I giggled. "At this rate we won't be done by dinner time."

He raised an eyebrow and wrapped his arms around me. "And that would be a bad thing?" Our lips came together slowly but before things got too good I pulled away.

"I've never done it before but I'm pretty sure making out isn't how you start."

"Well it couldn't hurt?"

I rolled my eyes as I picked up what we needed. "Let's get started!"

The next hour flew by and by the end of it we were exhausted and drenched with sweat. Everything was going perfect until we hit a snag.

"Ouch! Jason that was way too hard! You hurt me!"

His face was full of remorse as he held me tenderly. "I didn't mean too! I guess I just got so excited…"

I sighed and rubbed my injury. "Next time don't be so rough. You have to be gentle."

"But if I was gentle nothing would of gotten done! It wouldn't of been nearly as fun if I wasn't rough!" We stared at each other for a minute before we both broke out into laughter and hugged each other.

"For my first time I have to say that it was incredible."

Jason nodded in agreement. "After today I'd never want to do this with anybody else."

We broke our embrace and turned to look at the birdhouse we had just built. After two hours of work it had finally come together and it looked perfect. We smiled at each other as we left his garage.

"I'm so glad I have a birdhouse now. After Shane got back from Camp Rock I've had a need for one."

I nodded my head. "I'm glad I could help you then. But seriously Jason, I can't believe you hit my thumb with the hammer! It's still throbbing from the pain!"

Jason's eyebrows raised and his hands slowly moved towards my figure. "Well you know… we can go inside and I can make it up to you…"
