Hello there, all you lovely peoples who have decided to click on my story. This is about Anaya Salow's journey at Hogwarts. More specifically, her relationship with Draco Malfoy. I'll post updates once or twice per week so...yeah. I know I'm boring but shhh no one else has to know that.
Oh right, I forgot. JK ROWLING OWNS EVERYTHING BUT MY LOVELY OC AND PART OF THE PLOT OF THIS STORY/
August 31.
Dear Diary,
This is it. The last day I spend here at home. Tomorrow morning, mum is taking me up to King's Cross Station to take the train to Hogwarts. It's not that I'm not excited, but I shall miss everyone so terribly. I can't even imagine a month without seeing Melissa and Emilie, much less nine months. I suppose I could always write to them, but wouldn't you find it a bit strange if an owl showed up carrying letters? Oh, right. You're just a book.
Anyways, I don't see the need to be sent to the school. At first, I thought mum was worried I was behind on the curriculum, but last night, I realized that I knew everything that was taught in our 5th year, which is what I'll be attending. I don't know mum thinks.
I'm just really worried about making friends. It seems silly. Where ever I go, I worry yet everything turns out fine. But I'm going to a magic school, the BEST magic school. Don't you think I have a right to worry? Oh wow. Talking to a book again. No wonder why I feel mental sometimes.
Aside from friends, I don't know what house I might get sorted into. Mum said the sorting was fun. She went to Hogwarts herself, and was sorted into Ravenclaw. From what I've read, I'll be happy with anything but Slytherin.
Mum's calling me to get a good night's rest. My last night in this bed until the winter holidays. Might as well enjoy the night. I hope the beds at Hogwarts are comfy. Mum told me the Ravenclaw dorms are nice and cozy. We'll have to see about that. I'll write again, maybe tomorrow, on the train. I know I'll be bored to death. I doubt anyone will sit with me. Oh well, it's too late to look back now. Good night, I'm off to bed.
Anaya Salow
