The Changing
Spring:
Radiant skies fill the awaken mind
Of a new born soul.
Feeding only fresh air into her lungs,
Making her feel alive with every breath
Taken in from the comforting world.
Never once a barrier of pain,
Agony;
A broken surrounding.
She's free.
The freedom releases all unset mind games
Bringing only the happiness she's arisen from.
She's alive.
Summer:
Warm, uprising nights
Gazing at the heavens above;
A joy.
A joy once again fulfilled in her heart.
Walking upon the solid black road,
She watches the feet below and around guide her.
Memories of the past season
And hopeful wishing of the future,
Taunt and slowly haunt her decisions soon to begin.
Although a frown once,
She's reminded of what made her, who she is,
So all she does
Is smile.
Fall:
Only in serenity
Do the smiles she once had
Appear among her face.
Simple words bruise her to
The delicate core within.
Deadly stinging pierces through her heart as it cracks more.
And as the leaves slowly begin to fall,
She joins them in their destined prayer.
Each motion of her legs brings her
Closer to the warm, yet chilling ground.
Believing all, but trusting none,
Her smiles fail to hold their
Once strong appearance.
Winter:
And as the falling season arrives,
She bows her innocent head.
Confusion sweeps itself across her face.
Mistakes claw at the purity of her soul.
Smiles constantly remind of the past happiness;
But frowns cloud over the sight.
Heeded lectures avoided by her untrusting heart,
Suddenly back to claim the heavenly prize of innocence.
Stuck between her happiness and lovers;
Between right and wrong.
She no longer feels the strength to bear.
With only the choice of "goodbye",
She outruns the pain this time and retreats.
Leaving all she knows behind
The fatal closed doors of past seasons.
Tell me what you think of this. It's a different style…and I needed something new. So review please loves =)
