Roderich stared glumly at the nearly empty wine glass in his hand for a moment before finishing it off and placing it on his bedside table. He glanced at the other side of the bed, painfully aware of how empty it felt. It had been almost a week since the fight. The fight he started. The fight he couldn't even remember why he started. The fight that had caused his lover to start questioning their relationship. But of course Roderich couldn't apologize, the proud aristocrat that he is, so he was left to wallow in his loneliness until one of them broke down and called. He hated being alone, whereas his counterpart claimed to quite enjoy it. Gilbert was probably having a great time, probably hadn't thought of him once since he left, probably much happier without having to deal with the stuffy Austrian. Roderich sighed and looked over to his phone. It would be so much easier to just call and apologize, but it would be so much less embarrassing to simply have another glass of wine. His second glass soon lead to his third, his fourth, and he was defiantly starting to feel the effects. In an inversion to what he had expected, the slight intoxication just made him feel even worse. Worse, and it was all Gilbert's fault for making him feel this way. He picked up his phone and started dialing his lover's number, ready to give him an earful. As the phone rang he glanced at his digital clock. The time displayed brightly in his dark room, One-Fifteen. Roderich was thinking about how he would rarely stay up this late when the other's voice caught him off guard, "Hello? Priss? What are you doing up? Seriously, what time is it?" he sounded agitated. Roderich's drunken rant caught in his throat at the sound of Gilbert's voice, a sound which he had sorely missed, and instead of angry accusations, the first thing to escape from his lips was much different than he intended. "It's a quarter after one, I'm a little drunk and I need you now." "what... what the hell are you talking about roddy?" "I told myself I wouldn't call... but I lost all control and I need you now" "After everything that I said? Everything you said? You can't just expect everything to be all better now" "I-I know... but... I don't know how I can do without... I just need you now" After a long pause Gilbert sighed "Alright... I'll be right over"
