"You can find Agent Gibbs at that desk." A small, asian woman with simplistic features and dressed in a matching pant suit motioned a tall, lithe blonde towards a section of the large NCIS office.
"Thanks." She broke an artificial smile through her naturally upset mouth.
The small women grinned, too big to be real. "My pleasure, Ms. Gibbs."
The lanky female wandered timidly to the desk she had been shown to, her fingers delicately touched every object on the table. Her ears were tickled with sounds of footsteps coming slowly towards her.
5'11, maybe six feet. 160 pounds, fit, an athlete or an agent. Wearing a touch too much cologne, trying only a little too hard to impress. But he smelled good, the same cologne every woman would want to inhale off the sweet neck of whomever wore it. Or in this case, wore him.
"Excuse me, can I help you?" Cologne man inquired, and she pivoted carefully on the point of her stiletto.
His eyes were too curious as they transparently eyed her slightly over-exposing grey, flared dress. Every presumption the appealing guest formed in her mind were proven true with just her pithy interaction with the agent.
Her words slipped through her berry lips smoothly and soft, a hint of mystery hung to every syllable. "Not that I know of." She casually dropped her gaze down his limber figure and meet his eye.
A smirk formed on his slender lips as he lingered his gaze on her breasts. "Waiting for Gibbs?" She scarcely nodded, her eyebrow peaked at his words. "I don't know Gibbs knew such a gorgeous woman."
"Must not know much." She murmured as she perched her slim frame on the edge of the desk.
He smiled smugly before countering her sharp remark. "You'd be surprised what I know."
She didn't return his counter but simply looked past him at the aging man poised behind him. "Are you working, DiNozzo?"
DiNozzo turned quickly, his words came out as stutters as he tried to form an excuse on the tip of his tongue as the words leapt from his lips. "I-I...um...was helping this young woman here, she was lost."
She sighed, her crystal blue eyes rolled softly before she spoke airly. "Is this a technique you use often? I do know my way around an office, DiNozzo." Her voice enunciated his name, even making the harsh letters sound sweet.
"And you might be?" Gibbs asked the girl, his mind reeling with thoughts as to who she might be.
Her blue eyes met his, a mirror image. "I'd rather not discuss this with listeners."
Gibbs shrugged off her excuse and sipped the paper cup in his hand. "Tony can keep a secret."
She ceased any looming conflicts; slowly, she inhaled. "I'm Kelly."
Please review! It helps me so much with my writing and I love hearing if I'm doing okay or not. Thanks(:
