"Daddy do you have to go?" Asked Alex.

"Girls you know I have to its my job."

"What about us daddy!" Yelled Mitchie.

"Sorry girls I have to."

'Will all passengers for flight 166 to Los Angeles head to the gate.' Said the intercom.

He walked away not looking back; he didn't want to see their sad faces.

"Dad" Alex whispered to herself.

The girls came back to an empty house. You see previously their mother died in a car crash so it was only them and their dad.

"So you wanna watch T.V?" Asked Alex.

"No I don't wanna watch T.V Alex!" Mitchie snapped.

"Well sorry Mitchie."

Mitchie reached in the cabinet and got her favorite snack pickles and peanut butter. When they got a phone call.

"Don't bother getting up Alex I'll get it."

"Hello?"

"Yes is this Mitchie and Alex?" Said the strange voice.

"Um…yeah. What is this regarding?" Asked Mitchie.

"I don't know how to tell you this but…"

"B- but what?!" By this time tears were forming in their eyes.

"He died in an accident."

"WHAT!?" They yelled in unison crying.

"We will be sending you tickets to come to the funeral."

The girls said nothing.

When they got off the plane they saw a man holding up a sign that said Alex & Mitchie.

They walked up to him without saying a word.

"You must be Mitchie and Alex. I'm Josh."

"Yeah whatever." Mitchie rolled her eyes.

"Well if you'll follow me I'll show you to the car."

The girls didn't say a word they just followed him looking down the whole time.
