Regina didn't know how she had ended up here, but she knew three things; Emma Swan was kissing her, she was on her back in her own bed, and she was terrified. Terrified because she knew she couldn't go through with this without telling her. She needed this to be more than a one time thing, and she also needed Emma to know that. Know that she, Regina Mills Mayor of Storybrooke, was head over heals in love with the woman kissing her.

Regina gasped for air as Emma moved her kisses lower, peppering her her neck with sweet kisses, light bites and strokes of her tongue. She needed to just tell her, to get it over with.

"Emma stop"

Said Regina with a surprisingly steady voice. Emma immediately looked up to meet Regina's eyes and there she saw lust, worry and uncertainty. A bit uncertain herself Emma sat up , pulling Regina with her. When they both sat in the middle of Regina's bed facing eachother Regina opened her mouth and spoke quietly:

"I'm sorry, I just need to know"

The Mayor's eyes flickered up to meet Emma's and then quickly returned to her own lap.

"I just need to know this isn't a one time thing because I don't think I could take that"

She rushed the words out so quickly Emma could barely tell what she had actually said. And then Emma laughed because she had been dying to ask that exact question but worried that if she stopped Regina would have run. Now she lifted Regina's chin up and said with a small smile

"It won't be if you don't want it to be. Anything else you would like to ask?"

Regina looked down and whispered

"No. But there is something I need to tell you"

Emma's heart began pounding in her chest, her mind racing with things Regina would be so worried to tell her. Then Regina looked at Emma with tears in her eyes. Regina opend her mouth and with fear in her voice she stumbled out

"I...I love you"

Emma looked her a little shocked and smiled a sweet smile, saying

"You don't have to look so scared, and more importantly; I've loved you since the moment we first spoke"

Emma blushed a little at her own words, because they were very much true. Regina chuckled as the tears finally fell from her eyes as she whispered

"Me too Emma, me too"
