"Ruwee, come here", Joval was passing by the doors to the veranda of the lake house when she saw it happen.

"What Joval, what do you see?"

The older couple watched in awed silence as the young couple exchanged their vows. Even though they couldn't hear what the cleric was saying, they both knew that they were well past the part about speaking now or holding their peace. Anakin and Padme had no idea they had an attracted parental attention. The two thought that just the droids were in attendance. But they were wrong. The parents watched as the young couple kissed and were married.

"She didn't have to do this," Joval said.

"I think she did. You know that she loves that boy. The way that she was there the entire time he was in the med center, by his side. She's been with him the entire time and they haven't been apart for more than a few hours."

"She didn't have to do this in secret, though. We would have had a party for her."

"But he's a Jedi. He can't marry. If he did he would be kicked out of the order. Ruwee had said. But I think I understand why she did it. For as much as her protection as his. She knows that."

Joval nodded. She had a supper plan to change.
