21 Jumpstreet Fan Fiction

A cold November morning brought in the chill. Without the heater in the chapel working, again, and considering that for the first time in years, it was snowing, everybody with in the chapel was pretty well frozen stiff. Judy was the first one to enter the chapel, and she found Sal working on the heater.

"Sal...are you doing what I think you're doing?" Judy asked. Sal looked up from what he was doing.

"Judy? Yeah, well," he rubbed the back of his neck gently, "the heater isn't working."

"Again!"

"Judy, if I fixed it to work forever, I'd be out of a job, now wouldn't I? However, on a morning like this morning, I kind of wish that I knew what was wrong with it. I should have it fixed for lunch."

"You better have it fixed for lunch." was the only response that was given before she sat down at her desk and a peaceful silence reigned over the chapel. However, once again, the McQuaid brother's (HA!) Were on a case, that they'd just finished, and had decided to parade around like themselves (figuratively of course). Then Fuller showed up followed closely by Booker and Ioki, so figuratively speaking, the gang was all there. Well as far as they knew anyways.

"SAL! YOU SAID THE HEATER WOULD BE FIXED BY LUNCH! IT IS NOW 1:30 AND WE STILL HAVE NO HEAT!" Judy roared furiously as Tom and Booker laughed, sharing a smile. They had spent some more time together, and had gotten to know the other person almost as good as they knew themselves, and were now pretty good friends. Tom had apologized and though he hadn't meant it at the time, Booker had accepted it without arguing.

"Hey, guys, stop complaining. It's better that at least I'm working on it, okay? Cool your jets." They all looked at each other.

"WE ARE COOL, SAL! WE'RE COLD!"

"Wow, tough crowd." Fuller got off the phone with the bureau and looked out as his semi-frozen officers in wonder. He couldn't help but think that getting a new recruit was not exactly the bets possible situation for them to find themselves in. When Booker had come, it had taken them all almost 6 months to accept him, and now suddenly, they were getting a new one. And on top of that, the kid was a young genius- someone that probably had absolutely, no experience in this field at all, and they expected him to do well here. Lost in thought, he hardly noticed when the door to his chapel opened and a shy, younger boy walked in. Tom was the first to notice him.

"Hey, can we help you?" The boy looked in the eye. Tom shivered as he seen no remote access to human emotions. The boy hesitated and nodded quickly.

"Yeah, I'm looking for Capt. Fuller." Booker and Tom shared a look.

"What do you need with the captain?"

"I'm your new recruit."

So...What do you think? R&r
