A/N: My first AU! I'll be changing a few minor things and A21's personality will be based on the Android Arc in DBFZ. I'll try my best to summarize her backstory in this fanfiction. Cell is in his perfect form, and this takes place in DB:S at the very beginning of the Goku Black saga. I'll respond to reviews I find interesting as other authors do. I feel like this might have a couple of mistakes with character behavior and such, please give some advice if you see some. I might take a little inspiration from TFS and DBFZ though.

Summary: 12 years after the Cell Games, Cell is recreated in his Perfect Form by Gero's supercomputer. Along with a new friend, how will they adjust to this new world, with newfound power, and how will our friends react to his second coming and the arrival of another android. Find out now on the debut of Rebirth!

An incessant beeping echoed throughout the dead laboratory. Deep underground and seemingly abandoned, moss and plants wrapped around the lifeless machinery. Rust and decay took over, and some pipes were even opened slightly. Water drops splashed onto the floor and other objects, giving life to plants who inhabited the lonely home. The air was cold and stale. The light was dim, the few remaining light bulbs flashed and a glow emanated from a massive supercomputer. Next to the computer stood a large tube. It was similar to the chambers Androids 18 and 17 resided in until their eventual escape. Inside the tube, floated a tall humanoid, bug looking creature. Black spots coated the creature all over, making it appear more and black seemed to be its main color. It had wings for flight and hid a needle-like tail. Two large boomerang shaped sections on his head, and a black ball between them. The creature's feet were yellow and boot like, and his hip, abdomen, and elbow joints had a pink squishy looking section that connected them. It was Cell. The Perfect Being now reborn, in his terrifyingly humanoid Perfect Form. He floated in a liquid that seemed to keep him in stasis.

On the other side of the laboratory stood a capsule with the words "21" etched onto them. Not unlike Android 16, it looked to be another abandoned project of Dr. Gero's, being covered in moss and succumbing to rust. A high pitched whirring sound emanated from the supercomputer, followed by the mechanical opening of the capsule the unknown android resided in. It was a slow process, with only glimpses of the android being shown with each second. After about a minute of ear piercing whirring and mechanical noises, the capsule was finally open and out stepped a curvaceous young woman, wearing a white lab coat with the words "RR" written into the shoulder. Under the lab coat, she wore a red and blue short dress with black stockings, black arm sleeves, and blue and red heel boots. Like the other androids, her eyes were a soft pale blue, and her skin was just as pale white. Long, bushy auburn colored hair reached just above her hips, and gold hoop-shaped earrings. To top off the scientific look, she wore big black glasses that rested snugly on her nose.

As she stepped out onto the cracked white marble floor her boots made a light tapping sound. She pressed a hand against the glass of Cell's capsule where he resided in a fetal position. She studied the bio-mechanical being for about 3 minutes before moving to the other side of his capsule. A pad with a couple of different flashing lights was present on the bottom side of the capsule which 21 promptly tapped a few times. A couple of silent moments later, and the fluid inside Cell's capsule began to drain away allowing Cell to stand up to his full height. The door to the capsule opened automatically, to which Cell slowly went down the steps leading to the laboratory floor. His yellow boot-like feet made a distinct squeaking noise each time they touched the floor. As he went down the steps he admired his freshly regenerated body, staring down at his body and opening and closing his fist. He stopped when 21 walked in front of his path.

"Do you mind telling me exactly who in the blazes you are, woman?" He sneered, giving a vexation filled glare.

21 remained stoic, not taking offense to his rude introduction. She outstretched a hand to the bio-android prompting a handshake and said as politely as possible. "My name is Android 21, but you can call me 21. From the information I have on you, Cell, it appears we both are bio-mechanical in the sense that we have the cells of the strongest fighters in the universe. We also get stronger as we absorb people, though we do it through different methods."

Cell crossed his arms and ignored 21's handshake. The information this new android had given him was filling him with nothing but contempt and indignation. Had the doctor gone mad? He was the perfect being, there was no need for this, this knockoff. With his voice filled with anger, he replied to 21. "You're an android?"

21 nodded. "Correct."

Cell closed his eyes and raised one of his pale white hands into the air. Reopening his eyes, he began to rant with the contemptuous tone from earlier. "You know, I wonder why I even bother with that old fool anymore. Just thinking of whatever went through his mind to make him think of replacing me, The Perfect Being, with some weakling damsel scientist makes me wanna puke."

Looking back down, he saw that the scientist woman in question was looking back up at him with utter rage, he let a snide smirk cross his face. He leaned forward to 21's face and continued his rant, "If you really do have any amount of minuscule power, then the best way for you to put it to use would be to allow me to absorb it. I mean, Gero may have been a fool for creating you, but I don't doubt that he at least gave you some interesting fea-!

WHOOSH!

A burst of intense power nearly sent Cell flying along with the other objects in the laboratory. Cell managed to withstand the blast though many other objects came flying at him. It appeared to still be 21, however, her appearance changed dramatically. Her body still pplpp that curvy yet thin look, but her skin color changed to bright pink. Her hair turned from brunette to a pale palette of pink. Although she still kept the golden hoops for earrings, her ears became pointed. The glasses she wore seemed to have disappeared entirely, and her sclera turned completely black though her irises were now red. A tail seemed to have grown out of her from nowhere as well. Her attire changed to a black tube top, keeping the black arm sleeves and also gaining white baggy pants. Golden hoops were placed around her neck, wrists, and ankles. Her heel boots changed color from red and blue to black and gold.

21 began to walk over to the stunned bio-android with a new found confidence. A devilish smile found its way to her face, complimented by the glare in her eyes. Cell was shocked. He couldn't believe it. He'd been surpassed with relative ease by the same "damsel" he'd been insulting earlier. Then it dawned on him. Had she been concealing her power this entire time? She could've destroyed him at any moment. He was at her mercy. And that really pissed him off.

"Y-you...How...How dare you!"

Cell buried his feet into the ground, further destroying the already cracked marble below his feet. His wings flared up into the air showing he was ready to dash at 21 at lightning speed. Noticing this, 21 decided to further escalate his emotions. "You should really learn your place Cell." She said with a voice slightly hoarse from excitement. Cell fed up with this fluke, charged at the android. Before he even got close to her, he felt a burning pain in his chest. Looking down, he saw 21's hand pierced through his armor. Paralyzed from shock and frustration, Cell could only look up at 21 as she smirk before he saw her hand start to glow with a ball of ki in its palm.

"LIGHT GRENADE!" She yelled as Cell's upper half exploded in a blinding light. When the dust settled Cell's lower half fell over in a cartoonish matter. 21's excitement died a little as she waited expecting Cell's regeneration. Moments later, Cell's legs and torso stood back up and the upper half of his body regenerated, splashing his bright green blood around him. Cell began to hyperventilate as he looked over at the bored bio-android. He grimaced. "You would dare mock me?!"

21 was quick to shut him up. "You're more than smart enough to know that wasn't my intent." She strolled over to him, causing Cell to flinch. Noticing this, 21 continued to make her point. She leaned in to Cell's face with a smirk and an expression of malice, and content with her work. See? You're already flinching. I did that to show you you're nowhere near my level."

Feeling a twinge of embarrassment, Cell's mouth was agape from confusion on what to say. With their ability to read power levels, they both knew exactly how far apart they were in terms of power. Cell could only mutter a few of his rants and clench his fists in denial.

"Rrrrr...This, this humiliation. It will not go unpunished, 21...Not for now at least."

Cell only crossed his arms and turned away from his fellow bio-android. He could her staring a hole into his wings. Looking over his shoulder and shooting back a glare at his recently made rival, he finally spoke showing he'd somewhat come to terms with the situation. "Hmph. Well then 21, since you seem to be the 'latest and greatest Android in town', why don't you fill me in on how 'Goku and the Gang' are doing?"

It was becoming increasingly off-putting to 21 that Cell didn't want to turn to face her. She hesitated for a moment then went on. "I thought you'd never ask."

"...and that, is my attempt at summarizing the major events after the Cell Games, my creation, and how you came to be. Or, how you were resurrected."

Androids supposedly had infinite stamina, though that didn't seem to stop 21 from feeling completely exhausted after explaining in detail the past events up until now. She sighed, and rubbed her temples in annoyance Thanks to the androids shared trait of extraordinary intellect, she wouldn't have to explain everything over again because of Cell not understanding.

Now Cell was turned to face 21 standing about a yard away from her, with his hands on his hips. Although he was close enough to speak normally, he yelled to further annoy the Android giving her the jolt of her, so far, relatively short life. "21! We're leaving this dump!" He said as he kicked an old desktop across the room.

21 jolted upward causing her oversized glasses to nearly fall off face. "Ah! Ugh, fine!" She said while fixing her glasses.

Cell couldn't help but smirk a little at 21's expense, but he hid it and turned to the exit. A large door locked in with various screws and metal items. 21 walked to the side of the door where a glowing interface lied. Cell not want to waste time, simply blew it open with a ki blast blowing dust and debris everywhere. This further shocked 21, who criticized him to no avail. "You know, for a being of 'perfect intellect and power', you're not very stealthy."

Cell still hadn't put his hand down. "What's the matter? Afraid Goku'll show up and chew you up?" He smirked.

"Considering you're the weaker of us two, you'll be the one being chewed first." 21 retorted back.

"Please. I'd stand a better chance then you ever would."

21 face palmed and let out a sigh. "Speaking of chances, if we have a plan that would certainly improve ours, If they even show up."

"And what would that be? To run away?" Cell puts his hand down.

They continued their conversation as they walk through the remains of the door, into the fresh atmosphere of the evening. The weather was cloudy for the most part but there didn't seem to be a chance of rain. The two androids stepped through the grassy field as smoke came out of the now, not so expertly hidden laboratory.

21 finger to her lip. "Well if you want to not die, then yes. You are severely underestimating how much more powerful they've all gotten. In fact, I think even their youngest children could take you down."

Cell's mouth was left agape. "Now you're just insulting me. And I don't take kindly to insults, especially from you." He squinted his eyes at the end.

21 shrugged nonchalantly. "Hmph."

Capsule Corp. West City...

SMACK!

Bulma's palm connected onto the back of Trunks head. Trunks eyes were wide open in shock as he fully realized where he was. He'd tried to attack Goku to no avail while also shouting something about 'Black'.

"Hey man, chill out." said Goku in the same non-chalant manner he always did. After blocking Trunks attack earlier, he helped place him back down onto the bed he was on earlier.

"You need to rest Trunks." Bulma said in a motherly fashion. It was reminiscent of the way her future counterpart cared for him.

After about 3 minutes of Bulma checking Trunks, Goku getting a sensual bean, and Trunks attempting to summarize what happened in his future, Vegeta and Goku shared a collective gasp as they felt a familiar ki and another unknown energy.

"Vegeta, you feel that?"

"No way! He should be dead." Vegeta sweat dropped.

"There's no doubt about it, that's gotta be Cell." Goku's brow furrowed, before a smirk crossed his face. "After all these years, he's gotta be a good fight, right Vegeta?"

Vegeta boiled with rage. "Is that all you can think about Kakarot!"

"Oh come on Vegeta, you know you're excited to fight him too!"

"Hmph." Vegeta crosses his arms and looked away.

Bulma turned to the two Saiyan fighters. "So you two gonna tell me what's going on or what?" She placed her hands on her hips.

"Oh right." Goku turned to Bulma, still with the same expression on his face. "Cell's back, along with another fighter."

Bulma leaned back comically. "WHAT!? GO KILL THEM ALREADY!"

Vegeta and Goku both shivered at Bulma's outburst. "Alright alright, you don't need to yell at us." Vegeta complained.

"We've got this. Later!"
