If things we're different, do you think we'd work ?
It was a raining in Mystic Falls, the dark skies of the town made it look so, dreadful. Things we're horrible, it seemed that everyday something would go wrong and some one would obviously become seriously injured or sometimes even worse.. How did things get so out of hand ? One thing lead to another and now we're here, like a chain reaction of some sort. We are all connected to eachother some how.
How amazingly convenient, right ?
Looking at him sitting across from me, his dark eyes and beautiful skin are slightly glowing from the moon light coming through the window. He was currently sipping on some sort of golden liquid, on the couch, while I sit on the floor near the lit fire place.
Everyone was out doing something, leaving just us two behind. The lonely vampire and the vengeful witch. That's probably the only reason why I aloud myself to even ask him a question like that.
Finally, putting down his cup on the table, he walks over to me and sits. He runs his hand through his brown golden locks and I hear him take a breath in.
Honestly, if things we're different i would have probably already asked you to marry me.
And surprisingly that answer doesn't bother me one bit. Because in the end there's no one else in this world who fits me, like him. No one. Because he and I are to much alike.
But under the circumstance, it's not the place or the time to think about something so foolish when there's other things way more important.
Like keeping Elena alive.
And with that he comes a bit closer, and kisses my forehead. I close my eyes, at the feeling of what we could of had and in a matter of seconds its gone.
When my eyes flutter open again, he's back on the couch drinking his glass of alcohol and I'm left alone near the fire again.
If you'd asked me to marry you, my answer would have probably been yes.
I hear the front door open, signalling that Damon and Elena are back from where ever they came from and just like that, everything that just happened
Never happened.
