Within the first second after I woke up I saw square blocks. Everything around me was built out of blocks. Within the second one I noticed that I'm surrounded by angular chickens. They bustled around as if ignoring me and as if I was invisible. I was sure that it was a dream. I knew that normal chickens used to run away as soon as I would get any closer. "But why everything is square and angular?" - I was wondering.
There were plenty of chickens. Some were taking a bath in a nearby pond and some were pecking something in grass. "This must be a dream" - with every next second I was closer to be certain about it.
Then, with horror I noticed my hands, my legs and all the rest. "So it is a nightmare. I'm angular too". My skin was strange in touch. I was devastated. I remembered nothing about what I did before, and how it happened that I fell asleep. With all this confusion I tried to remind myself any detail but emptiness seemed to spread in my head as much I tried. "Or maybe someone poured some muck into my cola?"
Slowly, still trembling I looked around. Colors seemed to be too sharp and too cheerful, like in a fairy tale for small children. The sky was light blue and I was standing on some small clearing. On the one side I could see only a forest and trees, on another rocky mountains. I looked for any moving figure but I was surrounded just by the chickens. I deduced that if I'm faded than maybe the chickens are not chickens at all, so I decided to politely start a chat with one of them. There was no answer or not even a look. It seemed that I was the only representative of an angular human in the area, or at least of a speaking being.
I didn't know what I should do but I worked out that I cannot just stand in the same place. I had to move and look around a little and most of all I had to find any shelter. I had no idea what besides the clucking, white squares resides this planet, but the sun that was shining above me seemed to slightly move what meant that soon could come the night. I didn't want to wander there alone in the dark.
