Okey Dokey then. I guess it's been a while since I've actually posted something, besides "Thoughtless". Okay, now this is something completely different.
This is not based on an Evanescence song.
GASP!
Yeah, this is a Michael Jackson song; it's called 'Heaven Can Wait'. I looked it up and listened to it again and this just came out of nowhere. It's most likely going to turn out bad but I gave it a try.
Set near "Mosley Lane" 5x16.
Now enough with me; begin your journey on reading!

Derek Morgan had no idea what to do. His husband was very sick, in his bed, and dying. His husband was dying. He tried everything: medicine, shots, everything-anything!
Spencer Reid started hacking viciously and spit out a large portion of blood on his shirt. "D-Derek, I-I feel c-cold…"
Derek leaned down and put a cold cloth on his forehead. I need to take him to a hospital; now.
Once they got there, they were treated immediately. But Spencer still wasn't doing well.
Their doctor approached them and said, "You should use your last moments while you can. From the charts, Spencer seems as if he'd been sick for a very long time. He might not make it through the night…"
"What's wrong with him, doc?" Derek asked.
"It's an unknown disease. Like I was saying, he might not make it through the night, or even the first three hours of it. I'm very sorry Agent Morgan." And with that he walked out, hoping he was wrong.
Derek held Spencer's hand tightly and leaned over him, brushing his hand through his long hair. This is going to be the last time I'll get to do this…the last time I'll get to say I love him… He laid his head on his shoulders and felt Spencer's body shake with sobs. "I know baby, I'm so sorry. You know what? We're going to get through tonight, do you hear me? You're going to make it through tonight and I love you."
The hope was false as he noticed Spencer's body was no longer shaking from sobs. Spencer was having a seizure. "Somebody help! Please!"
Nurses and doctors rushed in as he heard a noise so dreadful. A noise he knew he was going to hear.
Spencer was flat-lining.
Derek couldn't stay there. He knew he was going to lose Spencer that night; he was sure of it. He began to pray as he dropped to his knees, lining his hands together. "Tell the angels no. I don't want to leave my baby alone. I don't want nobody else to hold him. That's a chance I'll take. Baby I'll say, Heaven can wait."
Well, if he was so sure of it, why did he hear Spencer calling out for him?
"Derek! Derek I'm okay!"
Derek turned and almost ran to him. He hugged him, never wanting to let go. He whispered, "Oh no, can't be without you baby. Oh no, without you, I'll be crazy. Oh no, guess Heaven will be waiting…" He pushed a long kiss on Spencer's lips, knowing that Heaven will be waiting for a long time.
Author's Note: I know, it probably sucked and didn't make any sense, but…at least I tried! Right…?
