Timeless Love
Author's Note: Hey guys! This is a story about Tracer and Emily, but don't worry; there will be action! This is my first story, and I hope I do a good job with it. Enjoy!
Chapter One:
Lena Oxton was running late. She was called into Winston's lab, but she didn't know why. All she knew is that Winston specifically told her "Lena, get to Watchpoint London as soon as possible". Tracer wondered if this was just another peanut butter crisis, or something more serious. She decided it seemed more urgent than a lack of peanut butter. "Winston's gonna kill me if I don't hurry up". "I don't like using this thing in public, but I guess I have to". Tracer was referring to the Chronal Accelerator strapped to her chest. It allowed her to travel through time, but it also kept her anchored to reality. "Guess a few blinks won't hurt". Tracer started blinking through the streets of King's Row. "Oh yea! I'll get there in no time!" Tracer was making fast progress towards Watchpoint London and saw her favorite café up ahead. "I guess a quick stop can't hu- oof! Tracer bumped into someone while blinking, and skinned her knee. "Sorry about that love!" Tracer got up and offered a hand to the most beautiful redhead she had ever seen. "No, that was my bad" said the redhead. "Let me buy you a drink". Oh, well, um I kinda- no a drink sounds lovely right about now". "What's your name, love?". "Emily. What's yours?" "Lena.". "Well if we're getting a drink, let's get to it". They went inside and Emily sat down and gave Lena money to buy the drinks. "What do you want, love?" Emily said just a tea. "Alright love, be right back" Tracer said as she headed towards the counter. Emily immediately started fantasizing about Tracer. "She's so cute" Emily thought. "She's probably straight though, all the hot ones are". Tracer came back with a two
teas. "Thanks for buying Emily". "Don't mention it. So, what's that thing on your chest?" "Oh, that's my Chronal Accelerator. Keeps me anchored in time. Long story". Tracer and Emily talked for some time until Tracer looked as the clock. "Shoot! I'm going to be late! Nice talking to you love!" And, in a blink, Tracer was gone.
Emily waked out of the café feeling good. She just made a friend (she hoped), and she thought Tracer was cute. She was almost home when she realized- she never got a number. Oh well. So much for that relationship. She went to grab her phone when she saw a piece of paper in her purse. He unfolded it and saw a number- and a name. Lena. "How did she- whatever; it doesn't matter. As long as I got it". Emily wondered where Lena ran off to, and if maybe she wanted their relationship to be a little more... special.
