A/N: I just rewatched "You Kill Me" and...this came to mind.
Disclaimer: I don't own CSI.
The Dumbest Smart Guy I Know
Smart.
She thinks that I'm smart. She can't deny it, because she said it. But…she also thinks I'm dumb. Well, this is a nice predicament, isn't it? She thinks that I think that all she is is a 'clumsy yet buxom DNA tech', yet I know that she thinks that I am smart…and dumb.
Can you be both? Really? Wouldn't they cancel each other out?
Oh well, I'm not one for arguing logistics…well, actually, I am, but that's another matter entirely. What matters now is that she thinks I'm smart, so all I have to do is redeem myself in her eyes in some way, convince her that she's more than a big breasted woman.
Perhaps inform her that I think she is smart as well.
Whatever I do, I have to convince her that I value her for more than her looks (She was, after all, the only one I asked to help me with my board game…well, thought experiment…well, board game…well…we'll argue that point later).
It may seem a bit much, trying to impress her and all. But, it isn't everyday that someone calls me the 'dumbest smart guy' she knows, now is it?
Well, now, Wendy Simms, look out, 'cause here I come.
