Lolita Country Club: Keri's Diary

Book1 Keri posts her secrets about her new group of friends in a diary, instead of an online journal where others can see what she posts. But when her diary plan backfires and someone gets a hold of it, can she mend the friendships that were shattered over a matter of written words?

My characters Keri, Amanda, Molly, Anna, LaCienega, Deschanel (Sweet lolitas), Taylor, Courtney,(Classic lolitas), Jack, Megan (Kodona, Oji), Seraphim "Sara" (Gothic lolita)

Part 1 1st Meet up

"OMG. Have you seen Anna's post, yet?"Amanda asked.

"Yeah. I saw it. Who wants to be a fatty chan?" Taylor asked. I bucked my eyes in horror. Who would say something so mean? What had I gotten myself into? I was sitting in between these two girls, in the computer section of the book shop. I don't know when our conversation turned on Anna. We were looking at cute dresses on the Angelic Pretty Japanese site just a second ago.

"She thinks she's so cute, but she's not," Amanda said.

"Maybe if we would stop giving her false hope and tell the truth," Taylor said. "What do you think, Keri?"

What do I think? I don't even know this girl.

"She could lose some weight," I said, with a light shrug of the shoulders. They laughed. Taylor turned the computer to me.

"Tell her," she says, in a challenging voice. I bucked my eyes.

"What? No. I can't."

"Why not? She'll never see it was you. You'll be anonymous."

"I'd rather not."

"Just do it."

"Why don't you do it?"

"It's not that serious. She won't get mad or anything. We do this all the time," Amanda said. I was hesitant for a moment, but then I wrote on Anna's LCC page. "Anna, you would look so much cuter if you lost a little weight." That didn't sound too bad, in fact, it sounds helpful. I shrugged and smiled.

"That wasn't so hard," said Taylor.

"You're right. It wasn't."

"Ugh. Here comes the special snowflake," Amanda said, under her breath.

"Who?" I asked.

"Molly Joyworld. Don't forget to smile," Taylor said.

"Even her name makes me want to puke," Amanda said, through her wide smile of pearly white teeth.

I turned my head, and in was walking this petite girl with perfect, long single- curled pigtails. Her coord had me gasping for air. She was wearing Bunnies Dance in the Moonlight in the light pink colorway, with matching headbow and OTKs. It made me feel a little insecure about my bodyline JSK Sweet Harmonies. It was my first and currently only Lolita dress.

This was my first Lolita fashion meet-up at the LCC, Lolita Country Club started by Amanda's mom who is a Gothic and sometimes Classic Lolita. After the meet, Amanda and her friend decided they liked me and I ended up coming to the book shop with them to look for a book for Amanda's reading assignment and to look at some Manga.

"Hi, guys," Molly sing- songed.

"Hi, Molly. Sit." Amanda reached over and patted the seat next to me. Molly sat next to me and smiled.

"Cute coord, as usual," Taylor said, making Molly smile once again.

"Thanks," she replied, admiring her bell- shaped skirt with white bunnies dancing on it under a sparkly, silver crescent moon.

"Hey, Keri. Looks like you got a reply," Taylor said, bumping my shoulder.

"Huh?" I asked, derp- faced. I looked at the computer. Anna had replied, "Bitch, are you calling me fat?!" My cheeks blushed red. Amanda and Taylor burst out laughing.
