45 Seconds

Stop my bleeding with your hand or let me fly to heaven my friend. 45 seconds from now on the rest of my life. Rescue me or let me fly tonight.

Do you still love me? The question always hung in the air like mist, filling the room with doubt, anxiety, and…

Tears.

Plop, plop, plop. They fell like rain. Falling continuously. Sometime, she wondered if they would go on forever.

And they did.

That's what it seemed like. They would come and pour. Then stop. Then they would come back and pour.

This was it.

Do you still love me? She was anxious to know. She had to know.. So she decided to find out today. Would he come and save her? Or was that all just a lie?

His gentle hands caressing her face. That smooth deep voice saying that he loved her.

And those lips.

Those luscious lips that even she was jealous of. His beautiful soft lips did it. Whenever they kissed, she felt heaven crash down on top of her as she would always melt into it. She chuckled. She could sit there all day thinking about those lips and probably could write a whole story about them. They were just oh so perfect.

She closed her eyes and let out an inaudible sigh. He should be coming at this time. Here I go… She shut her eyes harder and sliced her neck with one perfect straight cut with her kitchen knife.

Do you love me?

The door opened to reveal a shocked man as he stared at a girl sitting off in the corner with a knife in her hand. It held a beautiful yet disgusting shade of red. And her neck…

"45 seconds, you know."

He looked up and gathered up some courage to walk over to her and repeated shakily;

"45 seconds.."

Her fate danced at his fingertips. He could just leave her to bleed to death. Or he could help her by stopping the bleeding and save her life. And he didn't even need to think to make up his mind.

He quickly stripped off his shirt and put it over the cut, trying to stop the bleeding. While he did so, she couldn't help but ask.

"Do you love me?"

She still doubted him.

"…"

She hestitated a bit as he leaned closer and their lips touched. Although it was just a mere brush, it was everything to them. He deepened the kiss as raven and blonde locks mixed and people were falling over. Doubt and worry was clearly whispered on her face. Seeing this, he then whispered.

"Yeah."

And that was all she needed.

I did not know what went over me today! I know that the authors that know me well on here know that I am not this type of person! I've just been feeling down lately because of my love-sick life. Life is just so unfair to me! T_T
