The Eventide
"Rox! Don't forget the camera!" vociferated the young redhead.
The look of realization crossed the café au lait-colored face of the girl and she ran back to the manor, her chestnut hair whipping against the wind. I released a laugh at her absentmindedness.
I turned my back to the house [one hell of house, though!] and faced the empyrean. I checked my Muggle watch and hoped that Roxanne could get the camera faster. I took in the awe-inspiring mise en scène before me.
The sun was just beginning to set and it was a portraiture an art virtuoso would be proud of. It was a palette of a deeply shaded cerulean, a thin strip of lilac, the continuous color of light pink, a fiery shade of orange blending in with the blinding rays of yellow peeking between the crevasse–esque clouds hued flaming orange like a blaze ignited in a hearth.
I heard the thumping footsteps toward me and I just smiled in contentment.
AN: So, how was it? Yes, I know its crap. Not exactly my first FF. I have even more crappier attempts that I might think of posting. Haha. Review? :D
