"Aren't you excited Bells?""Jake I'm so happy that your pack is finally going to have some serious time with Edward and his family," I said jumping up and down with enthusiasm. "Don't worry, I already told my pack to bring nose plugs for the stench," Jake laughed. "Hey, stop being so mean. You smell just as horrible to Edward and his family," I scolded. "What goes around comes around," Jake said smiling at me, "See you tomorrow Bells."

I watched as Jake transformed into his wolf state and disappeared. I felt a cold hand holding my own. I smiled up at Edward. "So where is this whole gathering going to take place now?" Edward had changed the location so many times that I hadn't a clue where it was set for now. "The meadow," he answered. "The meadow?" Edward looked around and then pulled me closer to him before he spoke again. "I thought that it would be more familiar to them. I also know that it's a place that calms you. Edward said that last part while staring into my green eyes with his butterscotch ones.

"Try to get along with Jacob."

"I'll try to be nice to him," Edward said with a smirk.

"Good," I said with a little smile growing on my face, "because you're going to share a tent with him." Edwards smirk disappeared.

"I thought that you and I were going to share a tent," he said in confusion.

"I'm going to share a tent with Rosalie; I want her to like me more."

"Bella, you know why Rose doesn't like you as much as the rest of my family."

"I just want to try."

I remembered when Rosalie came to talk to me one night. She told me that she didn't like me as much as everyone else because I was willing to give up mortality so easily. Rosalie told me that that was the one thing she wanted. Being human I couldn't help but yawn. It was midnight. "Come on Bella, let's get you home."Edward scooped me up onto his back and ran back to Charlie's at his superhuman speed.

Once we were in my room I sat down on my bed. Edward sat with me as he started to hum the lullaby that he had composed for me when we first met. I laid down sleepily staring into his perfect face. "I love you," I whispered. "I love you too," he said, "I'd rather die than live without you." With those words in my mind I drifted off to sleep.
