T'was The Night Before Christmas
It was the night before Christmas, and I was in my bed. My eyes were drooping, and they soon collapsed. I fell asleep, wondering what kind of presents I would get for Christmas.
For five seconds, I was in complete darkness. Then, like a lightbulb in slow motion, my dream started to appear in front of me. The houses on the streets were darkly colored, and there were no people outside. Strangely, I felt that something was wrong here. Something was off, a missing piece to the perfect puzzle. I tried to yell, but my voice was not heard. Suddenly, the missing thing came to me: There was no sign of my life! If I existed here, there would be celebrations in the streets (preferably with Christmas banners), and a lot of cheer going around. I don't know if Skales existed here either. I knew for a fact that some other Hypnobrai lived in the parts of Imagination, but most lived close to Skales and I. Knowing this was a dream and that there were endless possibilities, I decided to open the door of the house closest to me. When I stepped inside, Christmas decorations were hung up. Oddly enough, there was no noise coming from up the staircase. I walked up the staircase, not caring about how much of a noisy racket the stairs made. I opened the door at the end of the upstairs hallway, and… was in my own house?
"HELLO!" I yelled. The noise bounced off of the walls. Running to my bedroom, I dashed up the stairs and across the hallway. The hallway never seemed to end in this dream, but that was a BAD thing. My bedroom was at the end of the hallway! As I ran, I tried to notice a pattern in the hallway. Soon enough, I found a pattern. Three doors to the right, and then three doors to the left. I jumped right and then left, to the pattern. "AGHHH!" I fell through a hole in the ground, but found myself inside my own bedroom. I tried to open the door, but it was locked. Looking across the room, I saw my sleeping self. "Just touch him and-" THUD. Something fell, but I figured that it was Santa Clause coming down the chimney. A coughing noise came from downstairs. I tried to open the door, but it was STILL locked. I put my finger in the air, and started to bring it down on my sleeping self's stomach. My finger touched my sleeping self's stomach.
I opened my eyes. "YES!" I said aloud. "That wasn't a dream! Woo hoo!" I opened the door and came downstairs. Sure enough, there were presents under the christmas tree. I picked up a light-blue one, and read the tag. "To Kw6," I read aloud. "Merry Christmas, from Santa." I opened the gift, and smiled.
THE END!
