Over the river and through the woods…just a little more fun. Still don't own Chuck.
Chuck vs the Invitation
"Well, I don't know why it won't work. She hurt me. I mean really hurt my heart." Chuck said.
"I know. She did me too. All she wanted was to clean up loose ends," Ellie sat at the table eating a few new pickle bits.
Chuck looked at her and could not figure out why anyone, let alone someone who was pregnant with a little morning…well, how could she. Chuck continued, "And like I was saying, she hurt me. But I know she was doing it for our own good. I think she can be trusted to be there."
"But Chuck it's not that she will be there, it is what she will do. I need advice. I don't need a cleaner. Someone who just goes through and destroys everything thinking that they are right and putting things in position to get what they want." Ellie went on. She was opening a second jar.
He could not figure it out. Yes, she was showing and he knew she could now feel the little one move. But even so, how could Devon get her those things. Then he came back to the problem at hand. He hoped someway she would get cleared. But he just did not know. Anything could happen.
Ellie was pulling the sixth pickle bit from the jar. She could not understand why her brother was being such a hard head. He should know how hard it was last time. Good grief Sarah could tell him some of it.
They looked at each other. She had one pickle bit ready to go. And Sarah came in the room. The tension was obvious. She went to the freezer and got the Rocky Road. Ellie's eyes lit up, "Okay I'll ask her."
Sarah looked over at Ellie and held up the ice cream container to her to see if she wanted some ice cream. Ellie nodded yes and Sarah asked, "What's up?"
They both answered, "Trying to decide whether to ask…."
Chuck said, "Mom"
And Ellie said, "Honey"
"to Thanksgiving."
A/N Okay, just another quick shot. Reviews happily accepted.
