Dean Wanted One To
Sam and Dean were just finishing up the hunt and they were both tired. Dean phone rang in the car on the way to the motel. He pulled his phone out and sighed. "We got more coordinates." Dean said throwing the phone in the back seat. Sam shook his head, "Let's just go to the motel. I'm tired, your about to fall asleep, we gotta take a break." Dean shook his head in return. "Sam we gotta keep moving, we gotta find out-"Sam cut Dean off in anger. "What, find out where dad is, find out what he wants us to do? Dean we have to find him. We can't keep screwing around with these shit hunts!" Sam said yelling. "Dad told us to go somewhere and that's what we are doing." Dean said in a calm voice. "Stop following orders! Do you know how to say no to dad? Why do you even have faith in him, after he left you?" Sam said and Dean laughed. "Sam, stop I don't want to talk about it." Sam turned in his seat. "No, tell me. What do you have to say? If we did things my way we would be with dad right now." Sam barked harshly. Dean pulled over. "You know that's not true." Dean said in an angry low voice. Sam laughed. "So, what are we gunna do, huh Dean? Sit around and follow dad's orders like good soldiers." Sam finished staring at Dean. "Yeah, that's exactly what we are going to do." Dean said turning in his seat. "How could you possible still follow his orders after he left and dumped you by yourself?" Sam asked and saw pain flash through Dean's face. "You left to Sam." Dean said and the words hit Sam hard. "I wanted to live a life alright. Don't tell me you never wanted to do that." Sam answered. "Well, I can't sit around living a normal life when I know what's out there. Yeah, I had dreams of my own. And the biggest one was killing the thing that got mom, and that was right above having a family again." Dean said opening the car door and stepping out. Sam felt guilty now. He knew Dean always wanted his family and that's it but he never seemed to keep them around. Sam stepped out. "Dean, dad didn't leave because of you, and neither did I." Sam said as Dean sat on the hood. Dean just held up his hand signaling Sam to stop. "I'm sorry man, I went too far. You should have had a real life to. It wasn't fair ..." Sam trailed off and sat by Dean. "That's why your best brother ever, you took care of me and that prevented you from having actual life." Sam said and Dean straightens up. "Don't be sorry it was my job, you are just the one who had the balls to leave." Dean said attempting a smile. "No, you're the brave one for sucking up and doing our job. I never liked it as much as you; I was never as good as you at it." Sam said looking at Dean who smiled. "I'm a pretty awesome good hunter aren't I?" Dean said with a cocky smile. Just then Sam knew Dean had forgiven him. Sam lightly punched Dean. "You are so full of yourself." Sam said walking towards the passenger door. Dean shrugged. "No I'm not, Bitch." Dean pulled open his door. "You are such a Jerk." And then the brothers drove off and Sam knew everything was going to be fine.
