Disclaimer: I do not own Gossip Girl
You know when you see her that it can't be good.
You don't know whether it's because she's frowning or whether it's because her eyes are brighter than you've ever seen them.
She makes her way over to you and grabs your arm.
"Chuck."
You look at her, and though she's still frowning, her eyes havegone slightly brighter.
You didn't even know that was possible.
"Yes?"
"We need to talk."
You raise an eyebrow "About what?"
She ignores the question, and pulls you away from the rest of the party.
"It's over."
You frown "Excuse me?"
"Me. You. We're finished."
"Why?"
"You've broken my heart one too many times."
You feel your angry rising up then.
"So, what, your just going to go back to Nathaniel?"
She shakes her head.
You smirk "Then who?"
A smile plays on her lips "Oh, you know him."
She glances over her shoulder, and you follow her line of sight.
No Way.
"Dan Humphrey?"
She nods slowly "Dan Humphrey."
You remain motionless, and she looks you in the eye.
"Goodbye Chuck."
She turns to leave, but you grab her hand.
"Wait! I can change, I promise."
She shakes her head sadly.
"That's the thing, Chuck. You can't change"
She walks away, and as you watch her grab his hand, you wan't to stop her. Beg her to come back to you. Punch that loser. Kiss her one last time.
But you can't.
Because it's obvious that they love each other.
Blair Waldorf loves Dan Humphrey. Dan Humphrey loves Blair Waldorf.
And Chuck Bass, is left all alone.
And once upon a time, she was yours.
You Don't Know A Good Thing Till It's Gone.
A quick one-shot, which made me feel sorry for Chuck. But, alas, Dair is my love.
