PREVIEW!
Her breath felt soft against his skin. Like the wind tickling his neck. He wished she could know what she did to him, yet, he knew she couldn't as he felt he was betraying her. Every breath the tingling spread further down his spine. He almost shivered in pleasure, but restrained himself, he couldn't let her know what she did too him. He knew his best friend didn't feel the same way about him, and never could.
He knew the hug only lasted two breaths but it felt like an eternity to him. He was leaving with his knight-mistress in two days, and wouldn't see hide or hair of his best friend for the next four years. It hurt to think he was abandoning her to the King's Own, and his annoying blue-eyed cousin. The thought of leaving her simply ripped his being in two. He couldn't help it, as much as he told himself that she would never feel more for him than a best friend, he still wanted more.
A/N: Review and tell me what you think! Depending on response I may or may not post the rest of this story.
A/N2: I haven't posted the next chapter yet, but I will get around to it… sometime. I've just fixed the grammatical errors that I saw, and constructive criticism is always welcome!
