Note: I do not own the characters in this story and they are regular teens
I woke up to the sounds of my own screams as they echoed throughout the empty hospital room. It was just a dream, Blossom, I tell myself as screams still continue to escape from my mouth, it's in the past. The nurse rushed and tried grabbing me as she called out to doctors. I could hear her hushed tones in the midst of my screams, "It was just a dream, it will be alright". I saw the doctors come in and I have yet to stop screaming and crying. With a matter of seconds I became drowsy and the people around me along with the flashbacks were fading in out until everything was pitch black.
I remember the dream so vividly touching the scar on the side of my face wishing it was all a dream. I closed my eyes and remembered how it all happened. My father picked me up from school clearly a little drunk; I remember screaming at him to slow down as we were crashing into a nearby tree. My dad didn't make it and I have this ugly scar on the side of my face to remember it all. I've been in the hospital for a couple weeks now, the first week I was in a coma, however, my aunt, Sarah, visited me every day.
It has been an overwhelming amount of time since I last saw aunt Sarah, the only reason she cared know was because she was my only family left. She was my mother's sister and it is understandable that she would hardly want to see me since my mother disappeared when I was born. In the time Sarah was here she never mentioned her personal life. She continuously asked routine questions such as, "How have you been?", "Are they feeding you enough here?"
In the morning when I woke up from all the drugs that were put in me last night to receive more rest and no abrupt wake ups where I'm screaming my head off I saw Sarah.
"Hey Aunt Sarah" I said trying not to think about what happened last night.
"Hey hun, " She said so sweetly, "Today you get released from the hospital"
It came as a shock to my system, me finally getting released from the hospital? It seemed like an eternity since I woke up from my coma. Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted by my aunt.
"Blossom, hun, I was thinking maybe you would like to stay with my boys and I?"
I almost broke down crying when she asked me that, "Yeah I do, thank you so much" I said giving my aunt a big hug as tears of joy streamed down my face.
"Great we'll go to your old house and get your stuff, okay?" she said dangling the keys to my old house in front of my face.
