I hate you. And I love you.
I want to slit your throat. And I want to kiss your neck.
You drive me crazy. And you keep me sane.
You are nothing to me. And you are everything at once.

Her dreams are filled with crimson red and pools of blood. Sometimes there would be a flicker of icy blue in them. She rarely remembers those moments. At least she desperately tries to convince herself of that.
She knows that it isn't supposed to be like that, that she isn't supposed to feel like that or to feel at all for that matter, at least not something as disastrous as that. So she tells herself again and again that in her dreams she only sees life slowly seeping out of those mesmerizing icy blue eyes. That thought however, isn't all that comforting either.
She hates him. And she loves him. And everything in between. Of course she would never admit that she actually does love him. It's a secret she decides, she will take to her grave.
She can't love him. She really shouldn't. It is a thought that was drilled into her since she was little. Love is dangerous. Love is cruel. Love cuts deeper than any weapon and the wounds it leaves behind are nastier than any other. But worst of all, love is willful. She wishes love would have chosen anyone but him, him of all people. Sadly love doesn't care what the mind wants.
She has to protect herself, protect herself from love, from him. So whenever a flicker of icy blue appears in her dreams she tries to push it to the back of her mind and focus solely on that lovely shade of crimson red and gets lost in pools of blood.

You are the only one I have ever seen as my equal.
You are my perfect match and together we are invincible.
I don't care about anyone but you.
If you want to see the world in flames I will burn everything to ashes.

He knows that her eyes are dark green, a lovely shade of green that resembles a conifer forest on a misty afternoon. At least he knows it is supposed to be like that. All he sees however when he looks her in the eyes is crimson red and pools of blood. It is incredibly enthralling and intrigues him to no end.
He doesn't know her, not really, not yet. But somehow he is sure he would do anything for her if she would only give him a chance, give him a word. He almost has to laugh at that thought. She rarely graces the world with her words and when she does so, it is solely to taunt and to mock.
He wants her. He wants to serve her. He wants to monopolize her. He wants her thoughts. He wants her laughs. He wants her tears. He wants her taunts. He wants her blood. He wants her everything.
He is greedy and he is impatient. He is one of those that take whatever they want, whenever they want it. But she is different. She is special. She is breathtaking. She deserves to be conquered. She is his ultimate prize and he always won his prizes fair and square. He has yet however to figure out how exactly to win her over. It feels like every time he gets closer she would just push him further away.
So he can only stand and stare and wonder what she sees with her mesmerizing eyes, how exactly she sees the world and more importantly how she sees him. With anyone else he would simply demand the answers he feels he owns. But every time he sees those eyes, his mind goes blank and is painted in the exact shade of crimson red he sees in her, his icy blue eyes never wavering from her form.

AN: This is my first time posting a story and I just realized thanks to a reviewer that this story was wrongly categorized (as in-progress and without the characters). I've already changed it to the way it is supposed to be. I'm really sorry for any confusion and I want to give a huge thank you to all the reviewers. You've made my day!
