A/N: This is a little story-poem I did of the scene in Waltz For The Moon, from Squall's point of view. I got the name from someone's video off of YouTube. Also, it's best if you've played the game first to understand it better. Enjoy, and don't forget to review at the end of it.
Disclaimer (if even needed for this one): I do not own Final Fantasy or any of its characters.
You were a radiant angel that summer night
A lighted beacon on the dance floor.
We saw our star of fate cross the sky
Bringing together two star-crossed lovers that we are.
You came to me, white heels clicking the floor
Or on white wings that you flew to me.
You touched my hand, pulling me with you
To the center of the crowded dance floor.
I stumbled and tripped; you danced like a swan.
I tried to leave- you pulled me by my heartstrings
Being my puppet master for the moment.
You taught me to dance- to move gracefully across the floor.
I twirled you; you brought me close
Breathing in your lavender scent perfume.
Colorful lights peppered the night sky.
You smiled at me; I didn't know
That such a smile could awaken my heart
Making me smile back.
You left me, heels clicking the floor
To some troupe of friends whom I know not of
Taking away with you
A piece of my heart.
You cracked my heart of ice that night
Melting it into tissue and blood.
My soul is living to this day
Because you, have revived it so.
