Until Po came along, Winter Feast was always the most formal and elegant time for the Jade Palace. Twenty nine of the greatest and most famous kung fu masters in all of China would meet in the dining room. Master Shifu, the host of this supper, always had us working on our formalities and manners.
We would all sit on this beautiful, round table surrounded by decorations of the most elegant. We all had such a small meal, but the food was rather delicious. We've always had the best chefs in China. Master Oogway would always throw in a little humor here and there.
After the feast, Master Shifu usually let us have the rest of the evening off until curfew. I usually meditate with Tigress and we talk on... certain things while the guys are off doing their usual thing. (Monkey and Mantis would be joking around and Crane would usually be the one to tell them to shut up since he was working on his calligraphy.)
When the sun hits the mountains, we are all in bed. After all, we needed the rest. There was usually a big day of training the next day. However, there was an expected surprise the next morning that never failed to catch me off guard.
When I woke up the next morning, I found a box covered in a glittering pink paper wrappings. Aside from my name, it didn't have any writing on it. It never told who it was from. This is the tenth year this has happened as long as I've been here at the Jade Palace. Every year, all five of us would wake up to see a present sitting besides our heads. It was the first thing we saw when we woke up.
We have no idea who or where it's from. We just know from experience that it was a gift for each of us from a kind stranger. Using the tip of my tail, I ripped the wrapper to reveal a cardboard box. I opened that up and it revealed a glittery pink ribbon. I lifted it with my tail. "Wow," I spoke. I recognized this ribbon. It wasn't just any ribbon. It was worn by one of the greatest female generals in all of China, Sheiann Shang. I smiled up at the ceiling as if the ribbon was a gift from the gods. (In this case it was.) I spoke these words to express my greatest gratitude.
"Thank you, Winter Feast Stranger."

What none of the Furious Five knew was that there was a figure on the the roof, listening as they expressed their gratitude for this Winter Feast Stranger. He smiled as he could hear the youth and innocence in their voices. "You're welcome, my dear children," Shifu spoke, before he leaped off the roof and returned to his own headquarters to prepare himself for a long day of training.
The End

Yeah, I was just waiting to do this. There's not enough of Shifu bonding with his students in the TV series, so I thought I'd just start my own mini series on how Shifu tackles this father thing with his students. XD
