Once upon a time there was the coolest damn Pretztail that ever did pretz a tail. His name was PAULIE and he was so cool he lived in a HOUSE and even kept a GARDEN, because he so admired the gardens that human gardeners kept.

One nice morning his bestest best friend Fergy the Fudgehog waddled into the garden. Fergy was lumpy and could only ever waddle anywhere because that is how his anatomy was.

"YO FERGIE" Paulie waved a wave and winked at his friend.

"PAULIE I AM SO HUNGRY," Screamed Fergy. "I KNOW I ONLY EVER USE YOU FOR FOOD BUT I NEED YOU."

"OK, sure!" Paulie handed Fergy vegetables.

"Yuck, what is this!" Fergy realized after he had put a carrot in his mouth and chewed a few times. "You're feeding me vegetables!"

"OF course!" Paulie laughed, "All Pinatas need to eat their vegetables to grow big and strong and AWESOME."

"B-but Paulie," Fergy whined as all his colour suddenly drained, "That is my one weakness!" He wailed as he fell over and started breathing heavily.

"WHAT HAVE I DOOOOONE!" Paulie screamed into the sky.

"A very bad thing," a shadow fell over Paulie. He looked up and saw A HUMAN. But not just any human, he was floating and had glowing mean eyes behind his mask!

"Oh no! YOU'RE FAST!" Paulie jumped next to Fergy and wrapped his arms around him. "Please don't take him! He is my very best friend in the whole world, even though he is an awful person to me!"

"Sorry, bub," THe grim reaper twitched his hand and OH GOD THERE WAS A STICK IN HIS HAND OH NO. "I've been waiting to do this for a loooooong time."

Fergy started screaming as the grim reaper advanced. "PAULIE NO YOU WERE MY BEST FRIEND."

"AND YOU MINE, FERGY!" Paulie screamed as the stick came down once, twice, again and again! Candy and wrappings went everywhere as the reaper went down to work.

"Huh, your blobby friend sure had a lot of sweets in him," Dastardos commented as he rooted around and finally fished out a particularly large sweet that was patterned just like Fergy's. "Enjoy your day!" He gave the Pretztail a particularly happy wave as he went singing off into the distance.

Paulie sobbed over the dismembered corpse of his former best friend.
