He was...

By:Jasper03

He was the proud first-time father of a beautiful baby boy.

He was the comforting hand that rubbed the baby's back at night.

He was the proud father of a second precious baby boy.

He was a widower, a father of two small children and had begun his hunt to avenge his wife's death.

He was love in the form of a man, giving hugs and kisses to his toddlers.

He was the band-aids on the scraped knees and maker of Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches.

He was the firm hand when they had done wrong and the silent treatment that drove them nuts.

He was the kind and familiar face when the school day ended.

He was the man who had gone through it all and helped them through it as well.

He was the first date's chauffeur and the spy at table three to make sure everything ran smoothly.

He was the nervous backseat driver in the Impala when one son, followed by the other learned how to drive.

He was the hunter that changed his children into stoic men.

He was the proud parent of two high school graduates.

He was the hurt and angry father when his youngest left for college.

He was the heartbroken man, torn between staying with his eldest or following the evil that murdered his wife.

He was the worried father when he listened to his voicemail and heard his sons' pleas for him to just talk to them because they were scared and lost or hurt beyond fixing.

He was the happiest man alive to see his sons again and even happier to have the trio together when he was so close to finding the yellow-eyed-demon.

He was the concerned man that just learned his youngest son had strange abilities.

He was possessed, trapped in his own body and hurting the two people he loved more than anything.

He was bleeding on the floor so close to the end of his hunt and begged his youngest to finish it.

He was a disappointed, defeated man in the passenger seat of the Impala as he and his family rode to the hospital, well aware his eldest was just breaths away from death.

He was the enemy in his youngest son's eyes when he put his hunt before his oldest son's health, though he was silently planning a way to save him.

He was the one who summoned Yellow-Eyes and offered all he had left for his boys.

He was the father who for once didn't want to argue about stupid things so he could offer late praise and gave one last mission to his son who made a miraculous recovery.

He was ready to go.

He was their best friend, their fellow hunter, their greatest love, their father, their home.

He was pronounced dead at 10:41 A.M.
