It had been decades since Derek had last seen the memorable animatronic characters and the storage building they were housed in was scheduled to be demolished in August of 2023.
The owners of the building had kept the animatronics from Fazbear Entertainment as a tribute to an old franchise. However, the owners of the storage building had struggled to keep ownership of the building for the last few decades, especially after the incidents at Freddy Fazbear's, and they had decided to leave it for purchase.
Soon after, a company had purchased the building so they could renovate it for future purposes and had moved the animatronics to another section of the building. They were keeping it for future purposes as they had purchased the rights to the franchise from the owners of Fazbear's Fright after it had burned down.
That was then but this is now. Derek, a local investigator in Utah, USA, had decided to resume his old investigations into Fazbear Entertainment that he had once considered a closed investigation after having ended it in the early 1990's. Derek, looking towards the decaying building, busted open the lock and chain covering the entrance and crept inside. Within the building, there was an ominous darkness shrouding the interior as Derek switched on his flashlight.
Derek noticed murky rainwater leaking through the ceiling as he glanced at the lifeless animatronic heads glaring at him from the shadows. The building was obviously left in a terrible state of disrepair and Derek couldn't think of any explanation as to why the most recent purchaser had abandoned the premises.
At that moment, Derek was left with an ominous feeling of anxiety as he stared into the eyes of the decaying, rotted Freddy Fazbear. He stared at the animatronic for a few moments before a mechanical whisper was heard as the bear came to life.
