**Hello everyone, this will be my first posting on the site. Its very short (a fart is longer than this story) and sweet and just to kinda get my feet wet. I hope everyone enjoys it if these two are a pair you enjoy. Thank you**

Pale skin was casually draped in a plan white shirt, which was being illuminated with a blue hue from a computer screen. Fingers tapped lightly and expertly across a keyboard filling the small room, that only he inhabited, with a steady rhythm. He was relaxed, seated on a bed with his legs folded under him cradling the electronic in his lap. Occasionally his attention would be pulled away from his task when he would hear heavy footsteps nearing his door. The sounds would pass by, never belonging to the other occupant of the room.

As more commotion was heard he became restless. He had mentally prepared himself for the door to open and have the cause of his racing thoughts to enter. However, the door never opened and he was in a losing battle with sleep. The computer was powered off and slide under the bed before giving in to the need of losing consciousness.

Dim light flooded the room as the door open and vanished as the door closed. It was unnoticed by the slim figure breathing steadily in the bed. The footsteps in the small space only caused the sleeping man to stir slightly and roll over to face the wall. The sound of something hitting the floor caused the slumbering man to be pulled from his deep sleep. The feeling of cold air hitting his back brought him to full alertness. Before he had an opportunity to discover what happened to his blankets he was greeted with warmth pressing against his back, an arm snaking around him, and a heavy sigh blowing his hair to tickle his cheek.

The body that was now sharing the bed never uttered a word. He was pulled tighter to the man behind him and listened to the slowing breathing. Eventually he heard a soft snore behind him and the tight grip became laxer. He was comfortable and relaxed, he loved the feeling of the other behind him. He dozed off.

An alarm sounded and startled him awake. He lifted his head rapidly, taking in the view around him. It was simply their room. However, he was the only one inhabiting the room. He rolled over in the bed facing away from the wall and decided to start his day lazily by soaking up the warmth on the opposite side of the bed, the warmth recently left by another.

**I decided to write something short about Cain and Abel since I just got caught up on the comic and woah, the beginning hit me like a ton of bricks. The beginning kinda threw me off but as I continued reading it I became fond of it and am curious to see how the creator, Hamletmachine, plans to have their lives unfold. Thanks for reading everyone**
