They were practically nose to nose. The scent of Quinn's perfume smelt just like Rachel imagined sunshine would. There were some perks to being girls. During Glee club Quinn and Rachel had asked to be excused to see the school nurse. They'd let Mr. Schue come to his own conclusions, and just as the girls had hoped, he asked no questions. There wasn't much Rachel Berry would miss Glee Club for, it was her favourite part of the day, her time to shine - and more importantly, outshine everyone else, but for Quinn Rachel would do anything. Her palms lay flat against the height of Quinn's thighs under the cover of her Cheerio skirt.
"Oh, Quinn." Rachel murmured her girlfriend's name, her tone all but breathless.
There was no /asking/ Rachel to say her name. Quinn responded with a kiss, her soft and tender lips fitting perfectly in a lock with Rachel's. Quinn's hands came up against Rachel's chest as though to stop her from leaning in that little bit closer. A look of disappointment twined with frustration made its way onto Rachel's face, washing away her previously allured expression. She was so cute when she was disappointed, or so Quinn thought. A smirk met Quinn's lips which soon blossomed into a fully-fledged smile.
"Babe," She laughed, her hands moving to Rachel's hips.
She let her back meet with the desk to give Rachel close all distance between them. It was Rachel who kissed Quinn this time, the passion raged with every precisely imprecise movement, their lips moving together in perfect sync. The kiss was urgent; it was utter abandonment and violent elation. Fingernails were dragged across skin (just gently enough not to leave a mark) inbetween soft caresses. Rachel let Quinn's tongue pass over her lips to meet with hers.
And then there was a sound that startled them, cutting through the near-silent atmosphere it caused them to jump despite the fact that they'd both been immersed in their own faberryous world only moments before. The doorknob turned again but with no prevail seeing as Quinn had locked it from the inside on their way in.
A voice called, "Who's in there?"
The girls struggled to straighten their tousled hair and out of place clothes. Rachel could still taste the cherry of Quinn's lips as she opened the door. Unable to shake her smile, she apologised to the History teacher and passed by him with Quinn close behind, careful not to let the fact that they were hand in hand be noticed.
Rachel went right and Quinn went left, but before she did so she whispered, "Until next time, Berry."
