Always and Forever
Ever since that fateful day at recess with the sandcastle incident, Stiles Stilinski and Scott McCall became inseparable, for better or for worse. Through thick and thin. Tragedy struck the due way too soon, taking the mother of the hyperactive teen with a heart of gold. Claudia Stilinski was gone and neither boy could believe it. Slowly, they got through it together, as they'd promised they were going to be there for each other always and forever. At the time they made the promise, neither boy understood its importance to the other, nor its necessity.
Soon it was Stiles's turn to stand by Scott while his parents went through a divorce, due to the teen's father's drinking and violence problems, which almost cost Scott his life as a kid. But they came out stronger together, always and forever.
Then when Peter Hale changed Scott's life drastically, Stiles never failed to aid his best friend to the best of his abilities. He was still a human, but he was more than that, he was Stiles, Scott's other- and smarter- half. Always and forever.
No matter what beasts and crises they faced, they faced them together; even the kidnapping of their parents by a powerful foe. When Stiles was overpowered and taken control of, Scott did not hold him accountable for the loss of his love, for he knew the last thing his best friend wanted was to kill her by choice. Instead, he focused on nothing else than saving his best friend. For that's what they were to each other. Brothers and best friends. Always and forever.
After the death of Allison, Scott thought he was doomed; a werewolf without his anchor. For awhile, when angered by his father on Stiles and his fathers' behalf, Scott used himself as his own anchor; and it worked. But he soon realized that that was a one time thing, for his best friend was his true anchor. They were each other's calm in the storm. Always and forever.
