Chapter One

Kajika was in a car on the way to hr new school.

She was dozing off because of the jet-lag that was still affecting her and she was dreaming.

In the dream, Kajika was maybe 5 or 6 years old and she was happy.

She was running through the waves of the ocean with Li-Ren and Mustafa hot on her heels.

She turned to face them and with a laugh, splashed some water at them and woke up.

"Kajika-sama we are here!" Her bodyguard, Toranosuke told her.

Kajika sat up and looked out of the window to the new school she was going to be attending.

It was very large and the grounds were pretty well kept.

It was a school only the rich got to go to.

If you graduated from there, you could be guaranteed a spot at any university that you could think of.

Kajika's father had told her that if she was to be attending school in Korea, her mother's homeland, then it would only be the best school there was.

"We will be separating because I am in a lower class than you, but if you need anything at all Kajika-sama, please feel free to text me or call my cell. I will be there as soon as I can." Toranosuke told her and she made an agreeing sound.

They pulled up to the front entrance.

They arrived early so that they could go to the teachers' office to introduce themselves and get their schedules.

"I am glad there aren't very many students here yet." Kajika said to herself.

She made sure everything she needed was out of the car before stepping back and letting Toranosuke close the door and the car drive off.

"Do you suppose we will do well here Kajika-sama?" He asked her.

Kajika looked over at him and nodded.

"Yes." Was her simple reply.

"Let's go, Toranosuke. We don't want to be late for the first day." She continued.

The both hurried off.

After meeting her new teacher, Kajika was lead to a classroom that was far away from the others.

"Sir? Where are we going?" She asked him politely.

"You are placed in a very special class Kajika-sama. Only four others were placed there. Your father wanted the best for you." He told her kindly.

"All right." She responded and it was silent the rest of the way.

When they got to the entrance to the classroom, Kajika was amazed.

The doors alone were enormous.

They towered high above both hers and the teacher's heads.

"Wow, what is this place?" Kajika wondered to herself in a quiet voice.

The outside was nothing compared to the inside though.

Walls painted a lovely crème color and desks with chairs that were cushioned.

"Now you need to wait in the hall for me to call you into the class to meet your new classmates. They will arrive soon and class will start shortly." He told her and she nodded exited through the new door that he had shown her.

She was waiting for maybe 15 minutes when she heard the teacher call her back in.

"This is the transfer student and she will be joining us today." The teacher told the other students whom Kajika saw were four boys.

One boy had curly hair and an arrogant look to him.

Another boy had light brown, almost red hair and the others both had dark, long hair about shoulder length.

"New student, why don't you tell us about yourself." The teacher told her.

"All right. My name is Kajika Louisa Kugami Burnsworth. I grew up on an island and I came to Korea because it was my mothers' homeland." She told them.
