its been thousands of years since athena turned Medusa into a gorgon, and slightly fewer since she put he head on her shield. Anyways several centuries passed, loneliness and guilt started to eat at her from the inside, for every time she saw that shield, she saw one of two things; how frightened medusa looked, and how pretty she had actually made her. Sure, from a first glance she was hideous. But when you when't turned into stone by looking at her, you could look closer and see the elegance and true beauty that only gorgons could have. Beautiful, perfect light green skin with scales that shimmered like emeralds in the light. Her eyes were snake-like and were the most beautiful shade of gold. While her fangs were a turn off at first, nobody could deny that she had perfect pearls for teeth.

Athena realized that she had two options. She could either bring her back and spend the next few millennia trying to atone for ruining her life thanks to an impulse move that she made impossible to be undone by anyone (including herself) in hopes of a little crush eventually blossoming into an immortal romance, the likes of which has never been seen before. Or she could make out with a shield.

She did not want to be caught doing that.

This isn't a story about how they grew closer over the years, oh no. This is a slice-of-life story about modern-day celebrity Medusa and her agent/wife Athena living in a Los Angeles penthouse in California. Adorable gayness will ensue.
