It was a beautiful night; the moons were full, the stars were sparkling, the breeze a perfect. Gibson sat at the edge of a pond at the park. Antauri sat down next to him, somewhat behind. The blue monkey's face heated up in a blush. He loved Antauri; the silver male was so thoughtful and kind, and the silver simian was so handsome it would take his breath way. Gibson new he had to say something, even if it would mean the risk of Antauri not returning the affection. The war with the undead risked one of them being killed, and he didn't think he could take it, knowing that he never told Antauri how he felt.

"You wanted to see me?" Antauri asked.

For a little while there was a comfortable silence. The sounds of nature filling the air; air winding through the trees, crickets chirping, a few frogs ribbiting. Gibson then spoke.

"What if I were to say I'm lonely."

"Well, you can spend time with me if that will help." Antauri smiled warmly.

"What if I were to say that I was romantically lonely?" Gibson blushed again, the cold breeze sounding him.

"Oh, well then I would say perhaps you should find someone to love."

"What if I were to say that I already love someone?" Gibson.

"Then I would ask who she is." Antauri hid a frown; he was a little heartbroken at that statement.

"What if I were to say it's a male?" Gibson swallowed nervously.

Antauri's heart skipped a beat and his face got a little warmer.

"Well that's fine as well." Antauri smiled.

"What if I were to say I was to say you know him?"

"Well then I would ask who is he?" Antauri raised a brow and smiled a little, wondering if this was going where he thought it was going.

"What if I were to say he's silver?" Gibson's face heated up even more, which was surprisingly possible.

"Well then I would say he sounds familiar…" Antauri smiled somewhat flirtatiously, but blue couldn't see it.

"What if I were to say he's sitting behind me?" Gibson was shaking he was so nervous.

"Well then..." Antauri scooted a little closer.

"I would say" he tilted Gibson's head to look at him in the eye.

"I love you to." And with that Antauri kissed him.

After a few moments the silver monkey pulled back to see the expression on Gibson's face, which was a silly love drunk smile. Antauri pulled the blue monkey onto his lap and wrapped his arms around his waist, resting his muzzle on Gibson's shoulder. Gibby sat very happily and wrapped his tail around Antauri's. They sat there watching the moonlit pond; it quite possible seemed like the greatest place in the world.
