A note: Um…yeah. I'm sorry.

No clue where this came from or why, but…oh well.
Love to you all!
DxS if you squint.

Please don't shoot me for the weirdness of this.
I don't own the cartoon or the song. If you can name the song and the band, five kudos points to you.

.o.O.o.o.O.o.

"It's tearing up my heart when I'm with you," the voice was strong, on key thankfully, and definitely female as it sang along to a very old, very unusual song to be heard coming from that particular third story room.

"But when we are apart I feel it too," she wasn't the worst singer in the world, but she certainly wasn't going to try to convince anyone she was the best singer either. Confidence was usually the key, but what would it matter when you were in the safety and privacy of your own room?

"And no matter what I do I feel the pain," the amusement on his part was reaching a dangerous level and he knew soon he'd give himself away and start laughing, not at her, but rather at the fact that she was singing. And not just singing…

"With or without you."

…but singing that particular song from such a bubblegum, preppy boy band.

"Baby I don't understand just why we can't be lovers," she was starting to bounce around the room to the rhythm of the song, and the halfa had to admit that she had chosen a particularly bouncy song to clean up her room to, "Things are getting out of hand, trying too much, but baby we can't win."

"Let it go, if you want me boy, let me know," and here she had changed the lyrics to suit herself, saying 'boy' in place of 'girl' in the song, "I am down, on my knees, I can't take it anymore."

She was tidying up right now, moving this knick-knack to it's proper place, or putting that cd back into its case, and doing it all while singing, "It's tearin' up my heart when I'm with you, but when we are apart, I feel it too. And no matter what I do, I feel the pain with or without you."

'And smiling,' he noticed to his own personal amusement, his own foot starting to tap along to the song as he let himself settle against the wall to just watch, "Baby don't misunderstand, what I'm trying to tell ya', in the corner of my mind, baby, it feels like we're running out of time."

"Let it go, if you want me boy, let me know," and it was almost too much and he just couldn't take it anymore. His laughter cut into her lyrics, and he knew he was doomed, "I am down on my knees, I can't take it anymo-Danny!?"

'Ah, well,' he thought to himself as the small girl rushed him, hurling the bottle of soda she'd just picked up at him with the song still playing in the background, 'At least I'll die with a smile on my face and the best blackmail ever.'
