"Lee! Lee! Wait for me!"
In the midst of the bustle of port, the sound of a child reached the tall blond man's ears. Lee turned, looking at the toddler with flowers in her hair who was reaching her hands up towards the sky in hopes of being scooped up in a loving embrace. He laughed, kneeling down and hoisting the little girl in his arms showering her with little kisses.
"Jin, you're not supposed to be out here!" he laughed, "You know I'm about to set sail!" Jin only grinned sheepishly, wrapping her arms around his neck to hug him close.
"I want to go with you!" she protested, "I don't like staying with Oracle; he's boring and no fun and has too many rules! I wanna be the prince of the sea with you!" Lee laughed at the fire in the four year olds eyes, and nuzzled his cheek against her braided hair.
"Maybe next time, my little princess." He crooned, placing the child back on the ground and adjusted the little flower crown on her head. "But I promise I'll be back soon. The sea may own my soul but you own my heart, and a good knight always returns to their princess."
"You promise?"
"I promise."
