OPEN YOUR EEEYYYESSS I SEEE YOUR EYES ARE OPEN

"This is dumb." Scorpius was draped over the couch, unopened Exploding Snap deck hanging across the arm in one hand. "Let's play some normal games instead."

Al murmured a "Ssh," eyes fixed on the screen, but even he had started to doze off in his chair.

Caught up in hurried Z-and-X-key-pressing, the fact that her cousin and friend had even spoken didn't register with Rose immediately. Reaction delayed by almost a minute, she said haltingly with her eyes still glued to the screen, "Wait, I've almost beaten my high score, then you can have a turn."

Scorpius stuffed his face into the plush couch arm, groaning dramatically. Al blinked and jerked his head up, looking a bit dazed.

"Let's never, ever, hang out with your cousin again," Scorpius' muffled voice came from the couch. Albus nodded vaguely, shifting in his seat.

Again, it took Rose a moment before she replied. "Even if it's not your turn to play, the music's nice to listen to," she said absently, amid low waves of sparkling and mellow love-filled trance.

"I don't want to play stupid unicorn games on your stupid Muggle computer, Rosie," Scorpius grumbled, still not looking up. "And for your information, the music is so boring."

Al yawned. "I rather like the music," he said.

"You're falling asleep!" Scorpius replied.

"Alright, alright, I'm on my last life, just give me another minute." Rose bounded through fields of stars and dolphins, leaving their hanging-out time to suffer until she bashed into a large rock.
