"...-om this day forward, you are Tenno. May you be a warrior in battle, a master tactician in proxy and a hero in light of our code."

Are the words that echo in my head. Constantly. I don't know when it started or when it ends.

Slowly, I feel myself waking up. I hear robust and heavy footsteps, and the muffled sound of gas releasing. Am I being freed?

"Tenno scum…" I hear being grunted. What was I called?

I fall. My knees reach the ground before my arms can capture my landing. As my sight frees from the blur, I see armoured feet nearing me. I can almost hear them chuckle.

Without thinking, I whip my arm from the ground, with a wide swing behind me. Three spiked rocks appear, and I hear them impale. As my vision finally sharpens, I see the sole remainder of the four soldiers stare at me. His aim shivers briefly before he decides to bolt it.

I want to chase him. But my feet disagree. I need a moment to raise myself.

With a slow and sturdy pace, I go after him. No doubt he wants to warn his peers.

The cat and mouse game between a half dazed yours-truly and a slow and bulky marine continues on. I don't know what I am doing. I simply wanted to stop him, no idea how. I could try and choke him, if that… thing even has a neck.

He enters a room, finally. I can look from across the hall as he yells something in his odd language. I reach out my hand in his direction, crushing him in my mind as I make my hand grasp him.

Mid-sentence, the marine stops. His figure seems to glow, and suddenly he raises his gun. But not to me.
No, in the split second his peers observe the on-goings, they meet their end at the marine's gun.

Somehow, in some way, I made him docile. I don't wait to think on it and grab his gun. He didn't seem to disagree and just stares at me. I get this awful gut feeling that I should point it at him in return and pull the trigger. They did call me scum, right?

I pull the trigger, and the wall is adorned with a new color. Red, maybe they're humans.

It doesn't matter. I can impale enemies with magic rocks, I have a gun and a prospect of many targets to use all that good stuff on. Humans or not is irrelevant. What they will be is dead.
