You're WHAT!?

Disclaimer: I own NOTHING!
"You're WHAT!?" Yelled Ron.
"We're getting married." Said Harry.
"You and Hermione are getting married?" Ron repeated.
"Yes," said Hermione hesitantly, squeezing Harry's hand. "We are."
"Would you excuse me for a moment"
Ron stormed out, muttering a stream of endless swearwords. Harry got up and ran after him.
"Listen, Ron--"
"How could you do this to me?!" Ron bellowed, "Why her, Harry? Why?"
"I love her."
"You're the bloody Boy-Who-Lived! You could have any girl at Hogwarts! Why does it have to be the one girl I want?!"
"I love her."
"Yeah, I got the message."
"Really? Because I don't think you did."
Ron scowled. "You're such a jerk, Harry. I'm always there for you, mate, always- but the one time it's not about you, you do this to me."
"It's not like that, Ron, you know it isn't."
"Then what is it like?"
"She doesn't love you, Ron. She never has, and she never will. This is not about me."
Ron rolled his eyes. Harry glared at him.
"Fine! You want to know why I love Hermione, Ron? Yeah, there's lots of girls who'd love to go out with The-Boy-Who-Lived! When Hermione looks at me, I know she's seeing me as just another regular person, and not that stupid celebrity that everyone else sees. Nobody else ever looks at me like that."
"I don't do that!" Said Ron defensively.
"C'mon, Ron, you know my fame gets to you. Is that what this is about? Me getting all the attention again?"
"This is about Hermione!" Ron paused for a moment. "How long has this been going on?"
"A few months. We know it's not a very long time, but--"
Ron cut him off. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"We knew you'd react like this! But when things got serious between us and we decided that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together, telling you about us because unavoidable."
Ron scowled.
"Look, I can't make you stop being an idiot and forgive me. But if you love Hermione, like you say you do, then you'll be glad that she's happy- even if that means that it's somebody else making her happy."
"Don't you wish I could?" Whispered Ron, fighting back tears. "We're back to where we started. I just can't be happy for you."
"Could you try?"
"It's take an extraordinary amount of will power to stop myself from punching you in the nose."
At this comment, Harry began to chuckle. Ron soon joined him, and before anyone could say 'quidditch,' the two were falling over eachother in fits of hysterical laughter.
"Best Mates?" Offered Harry, still laughing.
"Until the day I marry one of Hagrid's Blast Ended Skrewts!"
