So tell me how you two met.."

"Remember the family rule – The..
"The lightwoods haven't got light in their souls. Yeh, I know mum. You don't have to tell me this every time I go to the grocery store"
"Well, I'm just making sure, I don't want you to end up like those idiotic people. They are dangerous and the further away from them the better. Just remember that if you do see one run. They could do anything to you"
"Okay, okay. Can I go now?... Thank you".
My mum has always been over protective of me, ever since I was born. I wasn't allowed out of the house alone until i was 15 and even then It was only to go across the road to see my friend, Simon, who of course, had to be checked to see if he was a bad influence on me or wanted to kill me and stuff which is totally crazy. It took me 4 months to convince my mum that Simon wouldn't hurt a fly.
Every night when I was a kid, my mum would tell me stories about fairies and ghosts and how the lightwoods were evil creatures who killed them for fun. Of course, I know there will be a real reason why our family's don't like each other but every time I go to ask my mum, she would brush the question away and change the subject.

"Will that be all? Said the guy behind the cashier..i think his name is Luke... I'm not too sure. All I know is that every time I walk in here with my mum, he can't seem to take his eyes of her.
"Um, could I get those magazines for my little cousin. The one about Doctor who and the monster one please" I really wish I didn't have to lie about getting them for my cousin but if I said I wanted them for myself he would just look at me like I'm a creep.
"That will be £21.51 please"
So I handed over the cash and as I was just an out to walk out the shop, a black car pulled up outside. I Must admit, it was a pretty snazzy car, but I had to follow my mums orders. Get in, buy the grocery and return straight home. I'm pretty sure I would of done that if I didn't happen to see a god coming out of the black car. His hair was as if it had been touched by an angel, blonde as the sun. It was so mesmerising that the only way I snapped out of it was by someone having to ask me 4 times to move. Just as I was about to move after apologizing to the man, I had to stop as a tall figure brushed past me. I know it was him. The god. Just by the way you could feel his presence.
I picked up a pace as soon as I left the grocery store trying desperately not to look like a fool but trying to get to my car in the least amount of time possible. I got to my car and threw in the grocery, I'm pretty sure I broke the eggs but I couldn't check until I got home. I got in the car and looked into the grocery shop window. He was looking at me. The god was looking at me. His eyes were on my eyes and they were not going to move. If he wasn't going to move his eyes then I had to but I didn't want to. Finally he moved when his family grabbed him while walking out the shop. I knew that would be the last time i would see my god. And with that he got in the car and they started to drive away.
That's when I seen it. The registration plate. It said in clearly mixed in with letters and numbers – lightwood.
