Disclaimer: I've said this before, I'll say it once more, I don't own this lore, so don't be a bore. I'm getting better at this rhyming disclaimer thing.
Dreaming
--
I look in his eyes
And I know something's wrong.
Why won't he tell me?
I won't tell a soul.
--
I trust him completely,
But he doesn't trust me.
How do I know
Him so well?
--
I shut my eyes
And imagine a man
With eyes like fire
And skin that can't bruise.
--
When I open my eyes,
All I see is a star
And the look of concern
In my farm boy's sky eyes.
--
But my dream is just that.
A dream is not real.
The truth matters more
Than all that I feel.
A/N: Hey, for once I managed not to fit a format too much! I'm getting more and more rebelious. Plus I felt that Lana wasn't one to fit patterns anyway. It's about Lana, circa season two obviously. I know technically Tom Welling's eyes are green (or maybe gray, it's kind of hard to tell) but in the actual comic, they are blue and I needed the word "sky" to work with "star." See, I do have reasons for choosing the words I choose, contrary to what my sister says.
