(I don't own Rent, I wish I did. But I only own the laptop this is written on. By the way this really happened I'm just adding our friends to it.)
It was a cool March day in New York City. In Tompkins Square Park a group gathered there was cardboard signs hanging on lampposts and fences. Things were written on the ground with sidewalk chalk. And a few dozen people were standing around waiting for the games to begin. Mark had heard about the games through some people at the Life and decided to take his camera down to see what was going on. He called Roger at the loft and told him and Roger told him he was planning on meeting Collins but they would stop down to join him.
"SPPPEEEEAAAAK!"
"Rog, it's Mark pick up." After more than 20 years they still didn't answer the phone or change the message on it.
"What's up?"
"There's something going on in the park, it should be interesting."
"I'm meeting Collins in like 20."
"Well he might enjoy this too come on down." Said Mark.
"Fine I'll be there." Said Roger hanging up the phone as the slider opened.
"Morning Bitch."
"Morning Collins."
"Where's Mark?"
"Down at the park, he said somethings going on and we should head down there."
"Cool let's go." Said Collins as they headed out to the park.
The twosome headed down there and quickly spotted Mark standing near some people dressed in suits.
"Hey what's going on?" Asked Roger tapping Mark on the shoulder.
"It's the Olympics."
"What?" Asked Collins.
"It's the Unemployment Olympics."
"Are you serious?" Asked Roger.
"Yeah, they've got 'Office Phone Skee Ball' and 'Pin the Blame on the Boss'." Said Mark with a smile filming the line at the Unemployment Office where people were registering.
The three men stood around and watched the games, they cheered the competitors on. And then Collins started pouting to himself. Roger noticed and started to chuckle to himself only Mark heard and turned to him.
"What's so funny?"
"He's pissed." Roger answered.
"Why?" Asked Mark looking at Collins.
"Cause he didn't think of it himself." Said Roger.
"It's true, this is an awesome idea. Mark how many times did you want to throw the phone at Alexi?"
"Many, many times." Said Mark.
"I wish we thought of this. But it's really cool someone did."
The End...
Sorry this was a really stupid thing to write but I had to get it out of my head.
