Disclaimer: I do not own the Twilight series, although Stephenie Meyers does.
Author's note: Reviews, yes?
Everyone was out; with Bella and Edward hunting, Carlisle at the hospital, Esme shopping and Rosalie and Emmett were on a honeymoon. Again.
Even Resnesmee-her beloved niece, was out somewhere playing with Jacob.
Was she the only one without a thing to do?
Excluding Jasper of course, he was in the room reading one of his philosophical books.
Suddenly, a vision came to her.
"Of course!"Alice exclaimed.
She quickly placed the flowers that she was holding into a vase and flitted to their room-her's and Jazz's.
Emerging into the room, she heard a voice saying, "What has made you so excited, my love?"
This was of course, predictable. He could feel how she was feeling right now.
"Let's go for a walk, Jazzy!"Alice cried.
He looked up from his book and lifted his eyebrows, giving Alice a sceptical look and replied, "A walk?"
Alice nodded her head and added, "I see that we are taking a walk in the forest!"
"But I-"Jasper started.
"Please Jazzy? It's getting boring staying in the house..."Alice said.
Her golden caramel eyes shot Jasper a pleading look, something for centuries that he could never find how to resist. Besides, he didn't want to.
He placed his book down and replied, "Let's go then."
"Oh Jazz, you know how much I love you right?"She trilled in her high soprano voice as she took Jasper's hand.
"Not as much as I love you."Jasper answered.
The merry twinkling of bells resounded through the room, and Alice ran out of the house with Jasper in hand. Obviously, human velocity was too slow for Alice.
"Alice, didn't you say it was a walk?"Jasper asked.
Alice flashed her mesmerising smile at him and said, "Of course!"
"Then why are we-"
"Catch me-if you can!"Alice interrupted gleefully, releasing Jasper's hand and gracefully sliding across the forest.
Jasper shook his head, his lips slowing upturning. He began to chase after her after a while.
Although Alice had the upper hand by running first, Jasper's speed was much faster than hers, comparable to Edward's.
It was merely a few seconds when they reached the often frequented meadow. Jasper had his hands around her waist as they fell to the grass together.
"Caught."He growled.
Alice's laugh emanated through the whole meadow, the melody of the lovely sound of bells filled the meadow.
Her voice was raised higher by an octave as she said, "Wasn't that fun?"
Her topaz eyes bored into Jasper's own liquid gold ones.
Sometimes, she couldn't believe that such a goddess like him was her husband.
He was just so perfect.
Flawless.
It wasn't that she thought how he was so godly unlike her.
She knew that both of them had the same features.
She just did not think that anyone in the world would love her.
She came from an ugly background, and to an extent, he didn't.
"Alice?"He called to her softly.
"Hm?"
"What are you thinking?"
"How much you love me."
"You mean the world to me, Alice, and you know that."
He kissed her softly on her nose then lining her jaw, and finally stopped at her lips.
Suddenly, Alice's face turned expressionless.
Jasper knew that she was having one of her visions.
But this time, there was a difference.
Her face looked scared.
He could feel that she was feeling scared.
"Alice, what?"He asked anxiously.
She croaked, "Maria."
This was unusual. Maria was never in her visions.
"She's coming-for me."Alice finished.
